I've been looking through broken glass and trying to see a clear picture.

You have your own body, mind, and life so if someone/something is digging their claws into you and leaving a mark that you don't want or deserve then fight it!
Take those claws out of your back and walk away.
But those claws will leave a scar, a wound, a reminder that those hard times are behind you and the only way to survive is to keep moving.

because the person I  am now I'm getting tired of seeing

for what would come next.

man, that kid was so funny,
so easy to talk to
