Wonder why I’m blue
Wonder why I’m chilling
Your hands are cold, though they are tanned
I’d warm them up, but they’re still numb
How I wish, I can always carry them with me
But, time-to-time your hands get heavy
It’s just you, and how you act naturally
How I wish, I wasn’t this overly sensitive
How I wish I can always lift you up
But you know that wouldn’t work
And I couldn’t change that
Until forever

Ditch fear, do it scared
Greatness, she desires
Greatness, she should get
So she’s bathing schemes, mastering ploys
Playing her cards, making some noise
She, who is limitless, for she thinks so
She, who is a dreamer, is someone you shouldn’t let go

Maybe then I’ll meet
My secret weeper, in public places
My yesterday’s plea, my shade of blue
Yet, I can never look her in the eye
Jump high instead, would I?
Leap over, overcome
So I can laugh, like it’s no harm done

filling up, coping up
beneath a guesswork of a frightened mind
quiet, yet moving
sad, yet hopeful
deciphering fright, coming up roses
as we read and hear, wise stoic phrases
diverting fear, kindling gloom
one day, what’s used to be normal will resume

all the way, I’m trying
anyway, I’m used to dying
and rising back up like a phoenix
a vivider fervid flashing hues
In win or die trying, I’ll never lose
A dancer in the storm, an artist in the rain
It’s all in the mind, a cheat to this game

day by day, I go
to unfamiliar paths I’ve dreamt
without a thing, but with a word
a dream, an aim to put to work

by and by, I’ll learn
little by little, I’ll thrive
to inspirit every end of the story
every luckless can someday be lucky

Go, gaze; eye to eye
Dive in hues, swim against the current
Do what scares you, until it doesn’t
Each tasted hurt, each tasted flames
Yet, guts eat fire; grit win games
A mirror of charm, a mirror of gloom
A toast to the grief
One’s sadness in bloom
