For she has fought tooth and nail
And she’d still bite another bullet
Hey red-blooded, full of pep!
You’ve been hiding tears on every step
Going up or down, you’ll never know
Match that courage, just let it go

A modern day woman, would you call me?
A wild fervent against all and sundry
The mob said i deserve more, they always worry
Kinda late though, Look! I started already

A high bar set from my torn old letter
Would she even be someone better?
How far will this Pollyanna go?
Will I reap what i sow?

To be here
Firm, steady, not moving
To be here from where you planted me
Hoping, waiting for water
I might slowly dry, i might slowly die
Yet to be here for now’s the only way
Stakes are high, but i’d still say
To be here, come what may

Is that Crimson, Plum or Wine?
Tone of your frame, its shade, its line
I wanna know, i wanna see
And I’ll paint it, so you’re always here with me

My eyes through your eyes, can i gaze?
My smile through your glasses, can i stare?
I wanna know, i wanna see
And I’ll paint it, so you’re always here with me

Like glitter, i’ll always stick, i’ll always shine
i’ll write for you, i’ll make more time
Wherever you are, please know I’m fine
Talking to your portrait, the person who’s mine

I’d rather taste one bitter than eat sweets
Dolls that pull me and beg me, please
My withered leaves from same old trees
What to do with those blemished knees?

Mind’s wilted, so you came
Words you shower, make it rain!
Swear I’ll never go back again
To my petty, such paltry strain

There’s nothing more i can wish
Take me to nirvana, my perfect bliss
And we’ll blossom, we’ll bloom
We’ll grow, we’ll live, we’ll get there soon

An echt heart aching
A mistake, a misunderstanding
Clever with my own meaning
To forgive, to learn something

Imperfect dames, surely we are
Forgive us, world, for we’re way too far
As meat for our starving egos
As nosh for our black pitch scars

Come hold me, come touch me
Tell me, remind me, love me
We ain’t just our egos’ food
We’re smarter, we’re  brighter and we’ll be good

All time I’ve been looking,
One zealous, euphoric being
Is this real what i’m seeing?
A blue-dressed woman waving

Now, stumbling, now shaking
Tickled by her soul, I’m melting
So smitten that I’m making haste
Slowly please, just slowly chase
