This is one of those nights,
Where I always wondered,
How you got lost in my mind,
And never really found your way out.

We used to talk about the future,
But now its here,
And you are not.

So tonight I'll write about you,
Even if it hurts
I'll write about you,
Even if you don't want me to.

As I sit here,
Looking at the picture of you two,
I knew,
Your body,
Wrapped inside his arms,
Felt safer,
Than it ever was with me,
With your smile,
Twice as wide,
And your eyes,
Twice as happy,

In that moment,
I wanted to ****** the happiness,
Out of your faces,
You're inlove I know,
You're happy I know,
But why couldn't that be me?
Why couldn't it be us?

To the girl who writes,

Under the starry sky,

As any lover would do,
I didn't wish for you to be mine,
For I know it Wouldn't be true.

Just as fast as a shooting star,
But it doesn't work that way,
And it hurts every day,
To the boy she loves,
Please stay,
For she is vast as the universe,
Deeper than any ocean,
Please love her like she loves you,
So in a way,
I could be happy too.

i thought to myself,

while i was watching the colorful fireworks

explode into the air



first, a single flare of light,

like a comet,

piercing the midnight sky.



then dispersed into many pieces,

bright and colorful lights filled the heavens.

but slowly,

faded into darkness.


Maybe it's like us.


first a single pair of light

our love bloomed into a thousand colors.

then it was shattered, scattered, our once colorful love into pieces

as we reached the peak of our love.

Slowly falling out of the sky,

slowly the colors were going dim.

and here we are.

we faded into nothing.

I closed my eyes,
And thought of you,
Us,
Another memory,
Another time

Filled with pain,
How smiles turned to frowns,
How eyes of warmth,
Turned cold, and empty.

Each night I lay,
Awake in bed,
With thoughts of you,
That i go through,

How times of love,
Slowly turned,
Into tiny bits of torture.

Oh how it ryhmes,

I dreamt of you,
Last night,
A gate,
Came between us,
I suddenly felt the urge to climb,
And so I did,
Not knowing you had the keys,
All along,
You smiled as you opened the gate,
You took my hands in yours,
And gave me a kiss,
I found solace in your lips,
Comfort in your touch,
Who knew,
A moment could feel like a lifetime,
As our lips,
Said goodbye,
You immediately,
Turned your back,
And vanished,
Once again I found myself,
On the other side of the gate,
I woke up,
I still felt our kiss on my lips,
Funny,
You never took me to the other side.

an angel exists,
taken for granted,
isolated,
never appreciated,
surrounded by snakes,
by demons,
by ghosts,
an angel exists,
but is not living.

I once saw,
The sky blue,
Now all I see,
Are shades of gray.

I once heard,
Beautiful symphonies,
From every mouth,
That laid bare,
Now all I hear,
Are mumbled voices.

I once felt loved,
Cared,
Cherished,
Now I feel like,
Weight,
Dead weight,
A burden,
I bring people down,
I only cause dissapointment.

It seems the only way,
To escape this,
Is by leaving,
But this time,
My life,
As the fare.

Help, I'm depressed beyond repair.

What is perfection?
to others,
having the pieces,
neatly arranged,
by size,
by number,
by color,
for me,
there's nothing more perfect,
than how streaks of sunlight,
brightens,
your face,
lights up your smile,
and how the rays blend in with your hair.

I woke up,
at 1 am,
my mind,
immediatly plagued,
chaotic thoughts came to play,
deppresing ones also festered,
what can I say?
a troubled thought,
for a troubled guy,
how do I endure,
these consistent nights of woe?
At 1 am,
I think of you,
and suddenly,
the thoughts vanished,
with your stare,
and with your laugh,
my mind,
found peace.

In quiet moments,
on chaotic ones,
my mind will always fly,
to you,
us,
a fantasy that poets would write for a thousand years,
a journey,
on how you,
and I,
found love and bliss,
to the stars,
away from this world full of misery,
elope into a city with endless sunsets,
stars within our reach,
and trees and grass whispering comfort,
we'll dance on the shore,
while the sea plays,
her mesmerizing tune,
while the moon stares,
jealous of your beauty,
we'll find rest on the clouds,
the wind,
will play his lullaby,
serenading you to sleep,
and as you close your eyes,
a kiss,
I'll give,
for another journey,
we shall embark.

Your whole being is poetry,
from the way you talk,
the way you walk,
the way your lips,
form wrinkles,
each time you smile,
from your deafening silence,
to your soft voice,
poetry,
when you put your arms around me,
bringing me warmth,
against my cold, melancholic body,
when you hold my hand,
making me feel less lonesome,
making the moment grand,
you're poetry,
complex yet subtle,
defined yet undefined,
and I'm just a hopeless poet,
hopelessly trying to decipher,
hopelessly trying to write,
the ambiguous,
you.

As we sit,
side by side,
our hands,
interlocked,
your head softly pressed,
on my shoulder,
our journey,
how I wished,
would last a lifetime,
for this moment,
blissful,
sensational,
is ours.
