Drunk and dark but I could see clearly,
It was chill and the music was easy,
Then I saw you.

You were different,
Even in the dim light you were special,
Drink in hand and free in the other
We stopped as our eyes met

Fortunate

From the minute you’re born you’re judged,
When your just a baby you’re either accepted or shunned.
If you’re lucky there’s a plan in place to survive,
But if times are tough and life is rough you’ve not got much chance at all.
The privelaged forget how they are.
So if that’s you take a minute to think about how fortunate you are.
