We all seek a body to cling, but end up ending in a sling
It feels so good to ride out the wave until it comes crashing down on the heart like a *****
Yet we still come back for more
Not for the love of it but for the pain
And we know the only way to leave static is to embrace the whiplash while being automatic

They use their pretty faces everyday
And look with disapproval to the slightest display of  self expression
But there is always a seemless crack
Hidden by lyes of the past and false promises of the future
Flonting their pretty face in the presence of a king
Masquerading their rotting corpses by disguising it with an expensive coffin
As for all the pretentious souls, those pretty faces aren't so pretty, behind the closed doors of solitude

It is too late I say, too late
Your time has come to face your fate
Looking to the stars for Guidance
To find answers that don't exist

With the changing tides comes pretentious souls
With searing eyes and ever growing moles
Only one can grasp what you so desperately seek from others
But When you are ready to jump
Into the forbidden pit, it will be too late
