War is glamorized in every way that
peace is a delusion. We wake
up prepared to be agitated.
So much so we're upset before
any thing negative occurs. Lets
fight for peace. Arm ourselves
for battle! were losing the Earth,
but hope isn't lost.

Love got between you being
the reason I smile.

When I was young I
met a circus performer.
I was interested in finding out
how he learned to
ride a unicycle. I blurted
out the question anxious for
his response. He looked me
in my eyes and replied. Life
is about balance. Never
be so righteous that you become
a judge-mental holy roller,
but also don't be unprincipled
lacking morals taking advantage
of the good hearted. I sat
there puzzled and still to this
day I don't know how to ride
a Unicycle, but that lesson
taught me how to be a decent
and understanding human being.

She was broken. I've always
wondered why she casted her
insecurities upon me. Not realizing
The many lies she had been told.
I tried to help her the best I
could, but she needed space and
time to be alone. I was selfish only
thinking about my needs. ****
that my wants! I lusted for her
Physically not caring about her
broken mental state.

I thought I had you figured out,
but you're not a simple equation far
more complex than 1+1.

I thought I had you figured out,
but you're not a bike once you
learn how to ride you'll never
forget.

I thought I had you figured out,
but love is not to be understood
Only reciprocated.

One thing I hate about getting older
is growing cautious. Every news article I
read puts up another barrier. Life experiences
taught me not to trust so easily. Although
learning from not only my own experiences,
but also the experiences of others makes
you wise. I Feel as if I miss out on
so many opportunities because I'm scared
to take the risk. Its true ignorance
is bliss, but only the young can afford
to be ignorant.

I use to feel ashamed for being an Introvert.
Not necessarily afraid to go outside and be
amongst the crowd, but finding solace in
being alone surrounded by four walls and a
good book.
That was all the excitement I needed.
What I was insecure about is now my
strength! Everyday inside alone with
my books of poetry is another life saved.
Another year for a grandmother to watch
all her seeds sprout. One day we should
all hope to see our generational
garden flourish. Protect the gardeners, because one day once your seeds are planted you will want to live and see them bloom.
