This is a name made for fun by Webster, Massachusetts newspaper editor Laurence Daley to lengthen the Algonquin name,

Lake Chaubunagungamaug,

English name is “Webster Lake”.



With Daley’s version the lake’s name is the longest place name in the U.S.



Let’s make up a few words doing the reverse,

Taking long words and making them shorter.



“Encyclopedia”: “pedia”, as has been done with Wikipedia.

“Thermostat”: “stat”.

“Consciousness”: “shuss”.



Perhaps we can get good at this and learn to continually make life simpler,

More comfortable,

Healthier.



I think we’re already oriented this way

And I think this style of living is becoming more popular:

We begin to sense Life again,

Civilization and Language again–

We cease to challenge God,

Open ourselves to God,

Our Self,



We return to ease and Ease,

Enjoy beauty everywhere,

Enjoy each other’s company,

And live in a world where everyone is friend–

We live in God’s Tower

Are not just the familiar individual

Whose name is on our driver’s license,

ID card,

But the Wholeness within which all individuality

Exists as Expressions.



We have begun to Waken to this Reality

And our Life has begun to be not only Magnificent

But Cozy and Comfortable.



We are all Waking!

Restoring our Connection

To Wholeness, to God’s Grace;
