Wearing heart on the sleeve
Passion a contagious disease

Lies No more with Age
Sport takes the highway
Appropriate behaviour a lot earlier

It instills camaraderie
Only next to the Army
A feeling of oneness amongst many
Is the greatest gift in Triumph or Fall

Winning & Loosing part of any game
Both qualities inculcated simultaneously

Amongst friends and opponents
Congenial rapport built
In harmony with compatible minds

Loosing your identity
With run of the mill mediocrity
Missing out on regular life
Vacations and Barbecues
Sacrifice advance books Podium space

Winning loosing Sports Paradigm
Never teaches the meaning of quitting
Nobody who gave it all
Regret could never waltz

Congrous with the adversary
Willing to **** during game time
Take in like family after
Only Sport gives the opportunity to prove right this theory
An envy which will remain one

Hand shake after a match
Either side of the countdown
You see God in the stands
Regretting that he isn't a Sportsman

Wings used for masking
Already an actor in a garb
Actor within the actor
In the pit plays along the conductor

Coming through trap doors
Encountering multitude of characters
Walking past the proscenium arch
Standing on the apron for applause

Here lies one helluva lucky fellow
For all the times he fell drowned and buried himself,partly due to his own doings and partly due to the unknown
Still managed to have his head above water breathing ,had food on his table and had friends who'd speak highly of him.
The cause and effect he never really understood.
I want to keep my boots up on my porch and gaze at the evening shade ,as it gives way to the bright lit moon and as the noisy streets blends slowly into the Silence of Darkness illuminated by the light from the Sky and the glittering stars
As the darkness and silence blends into one
I will be waiting for the man upstairs to tell me that my time is up.
The surrounding nature will take notice of a rocking chair that continues to move at the pace of the wind ,with no one in it
And realize There goes another one

The sport was booming
In the school I was studying
The Vice Principal was coaching

Upset that I was training
Rejecting the mentoring

In spite of me undergoing my schooling
Began the process of sidelining

Did the scoring
Entire week with rounds progressing
Unaware that it was degrading
By the best Umpire award rewarding
My career as a player was near ending

Played every tournament progress non existent
Game remained stagnant
Winning one round extravagant

Years in circuit
No results to show
Loss in the 1st round
Became a rule of the thumb

Every loss confidence reduced
The very thing I hoped the game induced
Years later left me confused
Season after season
No results produced

Learning and practice
Always remained a novice
Loosing matches a practice
After the loss
Getting back home the only focus

A joke amongst players
Different clubs and layers
Beaten on the table
Reflected what I was capable

No excuse for Loosing
No one even suggesting
Rubbers & wood for changing
All alone left there hanging

Not able to win
Almost became a sin
Same results repeating
Got me thinking

Those who were playing
At my outcome laughing
Time to leave the shoes hanging
Where my thinking was heading

Blind without my glasses

Made it torturous

No value added
Self only saddened
By what has happened

Hurt by the experience

Not naturally talented

Not suited for the game
