It was the way he said her name
       as if there were no other

The way his eyes would sparkle
       as it was clear his heart would flutter

Although she continued loving him
       she knew his love was for another

The world is pretty huge
I don't understand why we worry about
how much capacity our bodies take up
Our insecurities take up even more

A Friendship gone sour
till the final hour

Tears streaming down my face
for the one i'd come to hate

Do you think we'd be friends 3 years from now?
That kind of talk was disallowed

But little did I know
that day would come to be
when the friend of 3 years
would move without telling me

We had our fights
Our little contretemps

Remember in the end
You were the one that left

Thus the fight seemed to do the deed
It broke us apart in our last times of being

Glances from you
who did not speak
I wondered what you wanted
yet I never made a peep

We laughed the week before
But never dared to do more
for we weren't as close as we were before

I don't understand when they say

As we maintain eye contact
The vividness of the day in when we once met

In our own little world
Where the skies filled with glitter

My naive self refused to believe this would end
That the fireworks I hear were not just hallucinations
I was blind, confused, oblivious to my surroundings
Unable to snap back to reality

And Time flew by fast like you reminded me
I was to return soon
Return to a place that was no longer next to your side
A Lonesome place where my feelings must hide

Quickly forgetting the way we played

The world has turned it's back on me
with their threatening glares
as if I were a*  Monster
and what pains me most,
is the fact that you have also
*become one of them

The only way she can really be

That the tarnished liquid
soothes her soul
as soon as it begins to take it toll

The fog in the air isn't just clouds
It's a heaven she says
and it makes her proud

I know I'll say to her one day
That this was never just her coffin
It was her young inescapable fate

When you peel at the flecks
of the unwanted paint
What will you feel
Will you love without complaint?

For this youth is dipped in gold
With a fluorescent shine
But underneath is Silver of its own
Silver in its own divine

Clouded with paint, and shine and plaster
Hurry and remove this fake taint faster
Show my silver, my platinum, my bronze
No longer am I fond of this imitative gold I have on

Writers block clouds my mind
And all I can do is wait in time

An empty paper
An ink filled pen

An unclear head
And no idea where to begin

There are many places I've been to
But none felt quite right
Because my home is the place
that lays right by your side.

When you're reading a book
but the words become blurry

Your glasses
they begin to look like a rainy day
when you're out in the town

Your cheeks
they're wet and stained now

Your eyes
they're red and swollen

And you realize
you're crying

The stars
The Moon
The Galaxies
They aren't you

In the dark
I can hear your heart

We will never be afraid again

My time has come
Do not grieve
God wanted me now
He set me *free

We met
Then we parted
It was over before it started

I saw a poem fly right by
     begging to be read

It's word were torn and tattered
             it's pages slightly shred

It told me it was empty
        No poet to be seen

It'd weep in deafening silence
    It's cover, no longer clean

All I could say to the poem
  With words that only meant few

Was that before I met it
  
I was lonely too.

Leaving someone behind
Or being left behind

Which is  more painful?

I hate the way you talk
I hate the way you snicker
I hate the way you walk away
And how you can be so bitter

I hate how you think you're always right
I hate the way you lie
I hate the way you built a home
in my heart where you reside

I also hate the way I'd wait by the phone for a text or call
I hate how I can't hate you
not even a little bit
Perhaps not even at all

Love will leave you weary and tired
But strength is the only thing you must require

To understand how you feel
I think I will continue to stand right here

Will you come to miss me?
Or will you fly free?

I hope to be imperturbable that you love me so
Not to be filled with inimical effects and woe

For the sake of tomorrow
I will forgive the tears of today

What's this heat I feel within
The one hitting all my nerves

It seems whenever you're around
It really starts to burn

I'm begging for some cool relief  
But wait, stay where you are

Because I'm sure if you come closer
It'll surely leave a scar

She wanted a little freedom
So she created her own world
She wandered a little
Still not enough for her
So she wandered a little more till
She couldn't wander anymore
She had wandered so far
She honestly had forgotten her way back
So she stayed there
In her own little world

Summer capes the sky in red
Splashing water, Teens widespread.

I see shadows in the corner
Running figures down the hall
Children peaking past the door
Young ones bouncing *****

They come to greet me
Now and then
They make me feel okay again
I'm the one they won't betray
They are the ones that I can trust
The ones I wish were you
But to forget you, I must

They replace you in my head
They replace you in my heart
They hold a special place, even in my darkest parts
So maybe I should get some sleep now
Before they come again
Because just for now..
I'll forget you were once
My Special friend

She walks through the room
             With a prideful high march
But she only turns heads
              Never their hearts

I probably understood,
even as a child

I couldn't foresee the future
and greet it with a smile

I couldn't picture you there
to hold my hand throughout

Even as a child
I held the biggest doubts

And now I understand,
It's normal without you near

Because your child has grown up
and you still aren't here

Lazily I fall into your arms
No longer am I stopped from the others alarms

I loved him so dearly , well thats what I thought
Yet , throughout our adolescence we were never taught

That even in the most hidden lies
The truth will always shine
And  we must move on through time

But that was the past
And today is today
And lazily Ill lay
in the new arms whom found me
and here I will stay .

I cry
I fall down
I feel pain

You fill my mind with words of vain
You fill my heart with words of love

I fake a laugh
I force a smile
I put on a facade for the while

Until you hit that off switch
Until you decide I've had enough

I'll obey your words
Your every command
For I am only a machine
To do with as you please

I can break this wooden mask you dress me with
This wooden masks filled with an array of emotions
Emotions I am told to feel

The cracks make their way threw the wooden mask
A Jolt of sparks
A thud on the ground
A face of real feelings

I feel pain when I fall down
I get mad
I cry
I bleed if I fall

Because I've only been Human
Human all the while.

There are those who from the beginning
Have always been long gone

While the others in the shadows
Have shone brilliantly all along

I hide my feelings in a box
However
What if it got out?
If it came into reach
where I could touch it anytime
I would damage it
If that's the case I'd rather..

I'd rather put my hands away

My mind said you loved me
My heart said the opposite

I've already gone too far
Now there's no going back

And no matter how much regret
lays on my shoulders

I can't go back
Because its you

You say that you love the sky
Yet you shield yourself from it
You say you love all flaws
Yet you pick at them bit by bit
You say that you love the world
Yet you lock yourself away
You say that you understand me
Yet you make my feelings sway
You say you love flowers
Yet you only pick a few
So when you say you love me
Should I really trust you?

You who loved me incompletely
You who's  love came in many different forms

I could no longer live with that imperfect love
I wished for you to hate me with all yourself
But you could not do so

No matter what destruction I did to your life
You still only filled me with incomplete love

Until we suffocate too much
This pretend love with continue on

And our facade of memories
Will live with time
Why the sweet love wilts.

Porcelain skin
And all that could and would have been

Life is full of little stories
Even one for you and me
And only we'll decide
What kind of Genre
our stories will be

A love that could never be
She would wait so patiently

A heart that she could hold
They were all so very cold

A love full of clues
Things she never knew

A love without a cause
Is all it ever was
