Trying to make it through this life
On dreams that we will reunite and there’ll be better days
Only time can tell
I know you want to cry
You’re eyes are filled with hurt
Let’s cry together
I’m in a bind
The past I can’t leave behind
Life isn’t easy
It’s not always breezy
I can tell you this now,
You have to be strong
Even when everything seems so wrong
Go onward even when it’s rough
My words you need to heed
One day I’ll be in the lead
My mind will no longer bleed
Trying to make it through this life
On dreams that we will reunite and there’ll be better days
Some days are rough and poetry helps! Wishes and dreams can only make days better!
’Twas noontide of summer,
  And midtime of night,
And stars, in their orbits,
  Shone pale, through the light
Of the brighter, cold moon.
  ’Mid planets her slaves,
Herself in the Heavens,
  Her beam on the waves.

  I gazed awhile
  On her cold smile;
Too cold—too cold for me—
  There passed, as a shroud,
  A fleecy cloud,
And I turned away to thee,
  Proud Evening Star,
  In thy glory afar
And dearer thy beam shall be;
  For joy to my heart
  Is the proud part
Thou bearest in Heaven at night,
  And more I admire
  Thy distant fire,
Than that colder, lowly light.
He wandered in the night
The stars shining light on his depraved soul
He whispered to the sky
“Any stranger that comes to me will know true misery”
He kept his promise to the universe
Assaulting, murdering, harassing
Charm and deception saving him from the horrors of life
During the day , he was a father and dutiful husband
During the night he was a cold blooded murderer
