Survival Wish
Oh priest that stands
resolute at deaths door,
Why does thou hesitate
upon knocking I ask.

Is there a unfinished task,
or perhaps a regret.
No it's neither an unfinished
task nor a regret.

Its a sense of longing.
A longing thou say,
But of what is the question
I ask thee.

Why does thee ask at all.
Oh voice speaking through the dark.
Thyself a curious fellow.
A curious fellow indeed.

But none the less
I shall answer thys question.
I don't want to give in.
There are people that need this preist,

There are people that relie on this priest.
Sorry I only linger,
Because I can't afford to go just yet.
So wait a bit longer

I still have a survival wish,
Not quit a death wish yet.
So your not quit there yet ay,
Anoher day will do just fine.

I thank thee
For appeasing thys curiosity,
And death shall wait for thee
To come again so please do.

Love In Many Ways
Love is a killer,
Who will silence you heart.
But sometimes it brings it back
Through the current of happyness.

It's hope adapted up in a gift,
A completeness on the border of adoration.
It full fills us
To the brink of being over bearing.

But we take with acceptance
Hopeing for the best.
Real love is rar,
So treasure it when given.

Love In unconditional,
A safty net to reassure our hearts.
Its a healer, a life giver, but can also be a stealer.

A trouble maker in the end it's is,
But it's up to you
If it's worth it, to find worth in it.
Love makes a family

But you got to find it first.
Smooth love is sailing, until you make a family.
Then you hit uncharted waters,
Trying your best to navigate through it.

To my mother
Dear mother of mine,
A mountain could not contain all thelove and thanks I hold for thee.
Your gracious as you are kind,

Your patience never cease to amaze thou
Humble self I am thanks to your guidance.
Your touch gentle as the wind
On a calm day.

Your smile
As wonderful as spring it's self.
I am proud to call you mother.

Forgotten Self
What's the point, why should I dance to deaths ballad,
Why should I be the toy soldier marching on orders.
Wait because I am and i'm sick of it.
Wait what's my name, it seems like an eternity since anyones spoken it.

Jasper, hawk, digger, angel, roadrunner, jolly
So many names and only one me.
I've been playing their game for fare to long,
I started down this road but got stuck in the middle

Unable to walk through its end.
I'm lost, I'm no where, I'm a ******* mess.
To my past self I'm sorry I didn't listen,
You said I'd never come back that I wouldn't find the end of the tunnel.

I told myself so ha the irony I find my position to be.
I didn't play my cards right and paid the price, this knight has fallen
into the enemy's hands forever a prisoner to their games.

Curiosity Kills
If you ever, I dare say ever
Find a black bottle cradled by the sea,
An odd fellow adorned with an old language
Lost to man thousands of years ago.

Remember cats may have nine lives,
But foolish humans do not.
Curiosity is an unpredictable devil,
Baring its teeth at any who approach.

He's an untamable beast, gripping at your very needs
But almost never recedes just does what pleases.

Starting Off
There's whiskey in my teacup,
A hint of roasted grain at the tip of my tongue.
Mmm what a satisfying way to commence one's day.
With an inspiration to my step I greet thy mundane day,
With a challenged mind and ready eye.

To weave the threads of life into a storybook,
To cast thy kinsfolk into a world of simulation, thrill, and suspension.
This is thou greatest honor, pleasure, and privilege.

Rising Up
Hey there, you there, yes there
Put a smile back into place
And face the fading land with conviction.

You did what was done,
What you believed to be done,
What shook you to the core drove you to act.

You took flight,
sored high,
carried proudly by your strong wings
That grow more confident with each beat.

Bliss
Bliss
The place of God was empty
not a single ray in sight
I indulge for a moment's peace
relishing in silence presence,

Like an old friend I greet him
Arms stretched out and open.
No whispers, no murmurs to be herd
Only serenity surrounds these sacred grounds.

But wait what's this I see
A drizzle of pure gold falling like a veil.
At first only a spec in the distance
Then slowly it closes in surrounding me within its folds.

From dark came light mystifying me,
I throw my head back laughing
A deep resonating sound
Echoing throughout the distance.
