A place of acceptance without judgement
A warm embrace in the midst of a storm
A stranger's radiant smile with wet eyes
A touch of skin by the frail and old
A place beyond life and death
A place of stillness and nothing
Like the ocean
Like the night sky
A dark room in the middle of the night
I have never loved anyone
Only the thought of them
Yet they always ruin it
Telling me all their heart
The breeze flows through and around
The river meanders through and around
The darkness lurks in the deepest of the deep
Humans are not kind to each other
Afraid of something out there
I run from the society
And yet I get nowhere
Now I crawl to my tomb
Where bliss is silence
A brush of my paint
A splash of yours
The rainbow is good
And the ocean is better
Together we are indifferent
The poised and quiet
An oath before God and men
To never judge at all times
To love them all the same
And still I find myself
On your flank
Waiting for good things to happen to me
You took my attention without my consent
And now I see you everywhere
