she’s embodied beauty
put into human form
her existence was forged in heaven
and her soul sent from another universe
meeting her and falling in love was like
looking at the sky for the first time
I praise the world for letting me
get to know such a beautiful creature
she’s everything my soul has been
dreaming of since it was born
and even if it was only a moment
that we had, it was still enough

lovely creature

she was
absolutely enchanting in every way
in every step she took
so graceful and powerful
and when she spoke
the words she put together
were aligned like stars in the galaxy
and her eyes were so deep
I usually got lost in them
but sometimes
they were cold,
piecing through my soul
and her words
hurtful like thousands of daggers
thrown at me
whether she liked it or not
and her presence
made me feel like I didn’t belong
she has such power over me
still, continually
I am hooked

oh god
you are killing me so slow
watching and waiting
please I am begging
end this misery
throw me away
let me die by your hand
just don’t torture me
you’re slowly twisting
the knife you put into my back
why didn’t you face me
be brave and do it courageously
spit onto my face just
my god just let me die in peace
don’t torment my poor heart no more
I need you to look at me
the air is escaping form my lungs
so lazily, could you maybe
pass me that cigarette?
would you be so kind and finish
I am nothing but a mess and disappointment
why would you want to make it
last so long I am running out of
ways to breathe and
oh my
it feels like I’m drowning
but you drove me to the dessert
you are the death of me
but it has never come yet
bring relief to my broken body
just finish what you started
once and for all
with a gentle touch
I am gone

if there’s a life
after death
then surely, there’s a place
already waiting for me
and someone arranged
to take me back home
I almost called him once,
but he brought me back
and my question is
what my mouth didn’t say
and my hands didn’t done yet?
