demons lie ravaged
by the light
the scorn of night

I see myself in the budding flower
at high noon
I see myself in the broken glass
I spilled too soon
I see myself in the stranger lounging
in shades of blue
I see myself  all around me
I see myself in you

Holy place of worship,
in lost paradise
I recite
an unknown verse
to an unknown choir
I've heard it once in a distant
dream
there's a lost highway I ride
all night

Lost in the eyes
which tread upon the heavy
gates of heavens

If I keep my gaze
level to the earth
and this plane,
I may never
reach what they call
nirvana

I'm lost in the eyes which
tread upon the heavy gates
of heaven

Tethered to his mad laughter
as it rings into the night

Waves roll thru
the peaks and valleys
at high tide noon

viridescent sea
calls to my shores
a call to action
for change is running me
high and dry;
leaving me to inhale
your sigh

Waves roll thru the
valley of my mind
high tide noon
the time to come
has come too soon
for change is calling my name
again, and when the West
summons, I'll wade in the
water until the waves turn blue
I no longer wait
and wait
for you

The shore comes crashing
upon the waves of my mind
when I sit still for long
enough, I can reach
the divine

Silence
silence
meditation

The wind in my sails
raise high, and set me
free into the night
the lonely captain
bids me goodbye,
and allows me steer
with all my might
the azure crystal water
treads upon my
glistenin eyes
for I see the horizon
and the mountains behind
already trekked, the storm
is clear

the wind , the sea
the midnight breeze
gets me down on my
******, bruises knees
for I say a prayer
into the abyss-
and wish, and wish
for the past to
set free
as I ride high,
I ride high
oh yes, I ride high
i kiss the moon, kiss the stars
and I bid my past goodbye
