Will love ever find me again,
As I daydream
I dream
On those Fall nights when it’s raining
I want to cuddle up with my love
In a warm cozy blanket
Kissing and talking about our day
Embracing your warmth
Like a fresh cup of chai tea
Sweet nothings form
As we exchange hugs
When I stare at your beautiful face
I know that you’re mine forever
I can feel it in my heart
I can feel it in my soul
You are the one for me-
When the day comes I’ll be grateful that love decided to knock on my door
Again-

Sometimes life is like a cupcake
So sweet
So satisfying
Sometimes life is like a lemon
unpredictably sour
And ****
But we take it all in
and balance
Life is what you make it
Let’s make lemon cupcakes
And dance in the rain if we have to

Poetry is my getaway
Every thought that comes to mind
Has a story to tell
At the end of the day
When I make time for poetry
It takes my mind away
Away from the stress
The worry
The hustle
And bustle of the day
It allows my mind to slow down
To rest
To rest for the next day
Like a train route that runs all day and night
Busy working
Getting things done
Then it’s time to wrap up for the night
Or like a water machine,
Filling everyone’s cup
And not until the last person comes for a cup
That you notice that you’re empty
Did they notice?-
Did they care to refill you?
But at night when I snuggle up
I grab my notebook
I escape
It soothes me
It’s refills me for the next day-
Off I go
To my poetry getaway

Don't the colors orange and yellow make you feel warm inside?
They make My heart smile
Feeling of butterflies fill my stomach
A fresh crisp scent of **** apples
Invade my nostrils
When I see orange and yellow
I close my eyes and its takes me to the Fall  

Beautiful orange and yellow leaves
Dancing in the wind
Im Bundled up with my new brown chestnut boots
My leg warmers cream to match my jacket
Walking downtown with my pumpkin latte
Strolling slowly
taking in the beauty
Breathing in the freshness of nature
The smell of recent rain in the air
Making my heart skip a beat

Getting home and biting into a warm chocolate chip cookie freshly baked
Warm and calming.
Its almost fall

On the days I think of you
I long for your love
For your touch
I wish for your happiness
I whisper a silent prayer for you
I pray for you
For your life
Your health
I pray that you find peace and joy within-

That on bad days you see the good
On good days you feel warmth inside
And a full heart

I pray that you find the perfect love
One worth holding on to
Worth fighting for
For better or for worse
Through any storm you both will overcome
I know I wont be that person
Im happy for you but heartbroken-
Im hopeful for my future
But, I wish you well
and I will always pray for you...

My silent prayer

When the beautiful sun rises
Beaming in my eyes
Ready for another beautiful day

To spend time with you
I can embrace you
hold your soft, warm hands

Will you be waiting at the door of the cozy coffee shop on the corner?
I'm excited to spend time with you
And hear about your day

I miss you when we depart
Your warm loving presence
Your bright beautiful smile
Your soft angelic eyes

You're always the best part of my day

Oh how I love tomorrow because I know you'll always be a part of my day

Can you promise me that you will be there tomorrow

And if we were to drop everything-
confess our love
and vow to each other today
I would be ready.
