If your heart is not for me, I'll love you all the same.
The feedback I've received is that my efforts are in vain.
Within me regarding you, there will always be a flame.
Yet I must continue growing, there is too much left to gain.
On any road that's traveled, less time with you means pain.
But if you're not convinced by now, I may never be your aim.
It's time to roll the dice and play, perhaps I'll win this game.
My wings grew back so I must fly, there's love out there to tame.

Isolation is the basis for cerebral control.
Ideologies to be shifted, for that is the goal.

No Vulcan mind melds to rediscover ones sense.
Plot a course and sail, there's no need for recompense.

A common trait is shared between energy and water.
The path of least resistance, always colder never hotter.

Newton's second law; the time rate change of momentum.
But how can force equal love? Let's apply an addendum.

As velocity increases, so does dilation of time.
Just keep your seat belt fastened, all things will be fine.

And now you've been conditioned to accept what you were told.
So close your eyes, just relax, fortune persists among the bold.

A heart is still caged from the chapter before.
Trained to distrust, taught to ignore.
A heart is released but shields are raised.
Ever so fearful of a chapter replayed.
A spark in their soul, a heart on the wire.
The light in her eyes fills a heart with desire.
A new trust is earned, a faith reinspired.
A heart opens up, a soul is caressed,
Agreed in a future for both that seems best.
Looks to her eyes to hear out a voice,
Eyes have gone dull, not by his choice.
Looks to the ground to come to the horror,
Heart’s been ripped out, bloods on the floor.
Light fades away and nothing but silence.
Without a heart there can be no more violence.
With no more lights, guidance only internal,
A heart clenches on, forever eternal.
