although the world convinces me
i find its thesis odd
physics and geometry
govern million masks of god

what sights hidden beyond thy realm?
your persistence i applaud
maybe is there more to these
fireworks of its fassaud

warm whisky warns of wows
whimsey witness truth and frow
but, hole i sit around i fell
truths of others, whisky tells
though thoughts of her in which i dwell
peering down my wishing well

pondered sights of empty glass
what changed to make it gone so fast
close friend to me i always thought
a lesson learned is lesson taught
and who's sat inside it's crystal throne
left me dizzy and alone

she left me comfort for the night
she told me things and showed me sights
showed me things objectively
like harmony and simiatry
She tried to help forget the past
but friends like whiskey never last

The Edgar wisp of winds drags frivolously across city streets where the fluorescent glow of lumination stands proudly to represent the vast indentation of our creation. where the cold and unforgiving hand of man is all to familiar, and alone I stand, here in the wake of it all. The lone wolf. A warm candles wick. A lost guitar pick. A Penguin without a pebble of thought to determine what's real and what's not.

a quake
infinite feet upon the street
the feet forgot their faces
no mouth for introduction
stay quiet in these places
no eyes to distract
from ones most noble duty
don't appreciate the little things
there's no such thing as beauty
no heart to protect the world
from beasts that steal our dreams
no hope for all the boys and girls
from feet that drive machines
every pair for themselves
at least that's the way it seems
