I have a smile on my face to hide the sadness in my mind
You laugh at me cause I’m bad at everything
I’m short but I’ve lasted through lots of big things although most times it hurts me
I might say I’m fine but inside I’m not

A smile on someone’s face doesn’t determine if the person is happy
Some people smile to hide their other emotions
Some people say “I’m fine” to hide the fact that they are hurting

So instead of focusing on what you hear and see
Try to find if that person has other things they aren’t saying
Don’t force it
Just be there and tell them that if they need anyone that your there
Be their friend
Be truthful and they will be able to open up
