All I wanted
Just to see you

A desert by the sea
remember me?
A mirror in the sky
reflections blurring by.

Deep into daylight
I would find you
don't try to fight me

Writing in the sand
I lost the way
to you.

Eyes glowing, he finds
your soul and blends
it with moonlight.

His long fingers intertwined
with the smoke of the universe

I see the signs left behind
by ancients suns
Long ago, now forgotten
He walks the lonely path
of isolation guided
only by the black of night.
I found a ladybug in a crack, caught, on the floor.
I waited for it to climb onto my hand.
A woman hands me my attorney's phone number.
I offer her the ladybug in exchange, asking her to free it.
So it won't be locked up.
She leaves...

Nearby,
a toilet flushes.

Destruction follows
my shadow
Failure waits
forming shapes
of your silhouette
deep behind the distance
lying in quicksand
spiting you out
Suffocating in your snare
steal the light
fight this night
fading in

You radiate past the sun,
blinding sonar waves bleed
into my every thought

Soft rays of you spill across the sky,
blending our consciousness together

as one.

Loves skin
paper-thin
like porcelain
deep rising eyes
draped in a sadness

An immortal touch
a caress through
a dream
insisting upon
my love

Drawing in near
conceived of dust
illusions of the unreal
a blur in the
vacant night

A ghost
of what once was
haunted
by you

Looking up for you now
staring down the night

Nowhere to go now, love
that you've taken your own life.

Last night I thought
I saw your constellation
orbiting the moon.

In another life
I would have known you.
Quiet like the stars in the night
....ever shining.
