Childhood dreams within a vacant memory
Thinking of the dark shadows who haunt my lost past.
Sanity escapes  my mind as she constantly whispers to sing in the soft veil of night.
Against my will she forces another tomorrow.
Subtle breezes of sorrow follow behind me.
Reminded by my clouded thinking
I'm confused by the signs
Taken by the soft touch of flame against me
I become unbreakable like a polished stone in a sea of  sand. The years have slowly melted me outside the box.

Waking early
too early
I can't sleep right

The mind racing
and pacing in me
too fast

Too fast to slow down
I can't slow down
can't stop this head on collision

Singed on my skin
is a memory
burnt on my thoughts
are your eyes
with a touch
you calm the raging waters
within me
as I wade through a flood

This tattoo stain
stings my soul at night
waking me in a river of wonder

Paranoia in the brain
hearing soft voices calling
I hear you through the wall

The void above sends messages
yet hides behind itself

The stars are calling
I can't find a way to answer

Alone, I slumber in a hole of thought

Silently  listening to the stars
entering this new phase of life
light years away
Layers of time and part of me
hears past eternity
your voice
Shifting the Earth and touching
the Moon only to be near your ghost
as the ground beneath us
crumbles and gives way
    -leaving only nothing.

Pulled memories from
my brain
In this instance
These diluted things
Foggy like the day
My sight grows dark this
dreary night
Hours became yesterday and
minutes this fortune
this grain of sand

This colorful strain
a single thread from my thought

Wasting away these days
listening to lost memories
wishing upon a star

Breaking down in my mind
Face is falling off
yet there is

Oxygen in your eyes
a light I found
breath of life
a fire behind
a dragon's rage

as you are a knight, a king
evermore bring oxygen
the fire within
