since i can’t hear the birds chirping outside,
i couldn’t help but wonder when the snow would subside.

tyranny was in him
he spent days in terror,
suffering,
and plotting revenge.
but he kept every
vengeful success
and dazzling victory.
delighted for the hate
in himself
he
awakened.
In class today we made a black out poem. Where we tore a page out of a book and chose certain words on that page, drew a photo about it on the background, and blacked out the other words that we didn’t add into the poem.

The water finds its way into my nose,
Into my mouth,
He let it happen.

Knowing everyone knows,
All I wanted was the truth,
Yet,
He let it happen.

I’m not stealing
I’m just borrowing

I’m not breaking it
I’m just taking it apart

Crash
It’s all in pieces
I didn’t try to break it
I just wanted to play
Dolls with my pet alligator
My sister made this poem

As the rain trickles down my window sill,
And through the droplets on the glass,
I could see a little flower,
Trying to survive through the shower.

As the sun shines through my window sill,
And through the rays on the glass,
I could see a little flower,
Who survived the shower.

Watching the sunrise on an old bench,
Slowly the rain falls making me drenched.

It’s just me and my dog,
Watching the rain appear through the fog.
