Swim across the deepest ocean

I'm cursed

I look for an outlet
A reason
Any reason
To be sad
Because then
I dnt Hv to think about
What's really bothering me

He saw her
From his window
One rainy day
She was smiling at nothing
And drenching wet
He waved

She was crying
Next to him
One rainy day
And he put his arm around her
And told her it would be okay

She took his hand then
And they would sit together
And knew that they would
Want no one else
No matter the weather

And finally they confessed
What was in their hearts
And I'm still as much in love
In every way
As I was
that rainy day

She longs to sleep
Feel the dim light of the moon
On her skin
She longs to see him
Her angel

And with her head
On the pillow
And her heart
On her tongue
She waits just
For him to come

Every long day
As evening comes
She's swept off her feet
At least till she realises
It's just a dream

Till one day
When she kisses him goodbye
She sees a feather of his wings
On her pillow at night

And as she looks at the sky
She can almost swear
That in the twinkling stars
She can see his face
Right there

And out of  her window she goes
Feather in hand
She can't live without him
She smiles as she falls
*Forever his to stand

One by one
She threw
all she owned
And the fire jus grew
It raged beyond
Her eyes
And in she threw
All of the lies
All the pain
All the hurt
And then
Stripped clean
And bathed anew
She walked over to him
And her heart torn with love
Arrived naked in front of him
And she said
"If I have you
I need nothing "

I wish I could lose myself
In your world
See your dreams
Your hopes
Your aspirations
Hear what makes you laugh
And know what makes you cry
See the world through your eyes
And then maybe I'll finally see
What is it exactly
That you see in me

My words
embrace me
Wrap me in a cocoon
Spinning tighter
and tighter
Till I'm lost in my own web
Of delusions
Till I'm lost
In the world I've created
And till my words
Spinning yarns
Are finally free
And I with them
And that is what poetry
Is to me

My body is intact
But my soul is ash
There's nothing that remains
There's no love, there's no pain
The fire is quenched
And all that's left
Is a shell
Hollow
With memories

When the earth
Is in a dreamless soon
When shade covers the world
When mist blinds the night
When stars peep
In the curtain of the sky
When leaves quiver in the wind

An insignificant being
Ceases to exist

As broken as me

The words seem
to speak to me
Consoling me
Giving my life meaning

Is the ashes of papers
Coming down like snow
Till I get buried deep within

With vision blind

There there's nothing
To hide
Nowhere to run
I'm safe within the confines

Not bound by the chains of reality

Hands pink and soft
Hands scarred with lines
Running down the length of it's fingers
Yes these hands are mine
They are cold with sweat
And shiver with anticipation
For soon yours they met
And they were forever to be

I wish I was a cloud
Floating gracefully by
I wish I was a rainbow
Painting the blue sky
I wish I was rain
Pouring down on earth
I wish I was fire
Warming up the hearth

Soaring in freedoms flight

I remember the time you asked me
If I still loved you
And I had said after hesitation
I still do
I remember the time you said
You missed the warm look in my eye
You missed the smile and the kiss goodbye
I remember the time where I didn't feel
I remember the time when I forgot this was real
And now I ask you:
Do u remember the time you asked me if I love you ?
Do you remember the time you said
You missed my smile
Do you remember how you missed the hugs and  kiss
Because I remember now
I remember all the things that I'll miss
Is it too late to say what I feel?
Did you too lose sense that this is real?

The rain caresses my hair
And flows down my neck
The rain kisses my lips
The rain touches my fingertips
The rain wraps around me
The rain embraces my skin
The rain wipes away my tears
And washes every sin
The rain fills my heart
The rain is in my soul

An angel sent from heaven
Once looked upon a girl
Nothing special was she
Everything abt her ordinary
But something captivated him
And he descended down to earth
Losing his halo for her
As a human he took birth
And heaven it was when she
Said ,"I love thee truly"
Nd in her heart she knew
She was the luckiest girl alive
To be loved and cherished
And with an angel
get to spend her life
