Stone cairn
Not too moderne
Sedimentary rock
Years of process
Around the clock
Sunlight, wind, cold
Bringing colored layers of bold
Stones that provide heat
On a dreary day where you set your feet
Shelter and protection
Beauty in its collection
Double meanings surround
These stones that are abound
Appealing rock garden
A visionary cycle of carbon
On a planet that is well known
Of abundant natural stone

If I was walkin’ in a rainstorm,
Would you follow after me?
With the weight of heat
Where two hearts meet
Weather the heartache
A thundery shake
Near the lake
Temperature rise
From a saturated sky
As we gaze upon the darkness of life
Through the clouds flickering light
Winds change the degree
Distance between high energy
Mother Earth quench her thirst
With deep emotion dispersed
Wet grass sunny hope
Rainbow sightings kaleidoscope
Soothing raindrops beat
Where shadows reappear
As our storms clear
Year after year

Strawberry cove
Water reflects sky above
Sunlit bay
On a crystal clear day
Sandhills roll
Tiny bird peers from little hole
Washing sandy feathers
Near small vessels tethered
Fishermen lurk about
Scattered fish
Make a last wish
White chilled on rocks
Fruit floats
Refreshing drink
Icey wine coats
Gently as boats sway
Sweet succulent way
Strawberry cove
Nature’s liquid dessert
Sugared water spurt

Sunset summer
Autumn forth comer
Grass peppered dew
Overpass view
Carnival lights
Soar to heights
Squeaking metal
Popcorn kettle
Circle warm wander
Time squander
Swing round
Hearts pound
Pretzel king
Stand with plastic rings
Great fair
The strangest air
Summer night
With the highest kite
Candy apple red
Gunpowder overhead
Waxed lips
Ice cream drips
Short skirts
Music flirts
Spirits soar
Frothy waves on shore
Star shooter
Nighttime lingers sooner
Sunset summer closes
With bountiful roses
Copper colored nights
We ride high....
....In the sunset summer flights

She had to rethink
It started with a wink
Those pleasures
Bestowed upon her
And roses of pink
Gazing up to take full measure
Knowing the sky can change if she blinked
Swirly clouds of dust
With lavender hue magnified
To an orange glow by eventide
if she does not go inside
She’ll see a shooting star that’s not that high
It will be found
Coming down low to the ground
Glowing stony rock of wonder
One that Makes her stop and ponder
Those farm flowers
She remembered
She waits
Blossoms and pine
Were the bait
Charms that she never thought
Would turn to hate
With quartz rock
That held its weight
That sky
That spring date
And Love
That shared the same fate

The Stream
Carries the mighty twig along
Through its winding turns
Gets stuck under a rock
But not for long
When the fisherman comes
And pushes it to the dock
There it hangs out
For awhile
Making new Friends
Near the wet branch pile
Some are thick
Some are thin
Some are cracked
And some are its twin
A sudden big splash
The kids have jumped in
Off the twig goes
Where it ends up
It does not know
Entwining with another twig
Around each lily pad
Like perfectly aligned dancing feet
That must have been meant to meet
Together they move swiftly through the water
Stuck underneath some large kelp
Its liked friend is there to help
Over the mini waterfalls they flow
Never really know which will let go
Eventually it starts to pour
And a wave crashes them to a shore
Together they are not no more
One transcends to a useful walking stick along the ridge
The other becomes part sandcastle bridge
Stopped serving their purpose
They did not
At midnight they are tossed back in
Rough waters ahead
They start to spin
Mighty twigs gave it their best shot
And then they began to slowly rot

The Heart is home
Where hope takes root
And love flows
Where we can celebrate a strong bond

I wana wish you a beautiful Christmas
I wana wish that your heart is home.

Where goodbye becomes
The adore
And hello means
Stay evermore
That sound
Is the dreamy home
You found

I wana wish you a beautiful Christmas
I wana wish that your heart is home.

When Hearts are home
Chairs at table
When we’re apart
For who owns your heart
They share in the feast
When hearts are home

I wana wish you a beautiful Christmas
I wana wish that your heart is home.

Twinkling by twilight
Their love floats high
A colorless bright
In your home sky

I wana wish you a beautiful Christmas
I wana wish that your heart is home.

Stay awhile
Won’t you
This is the plea
When hearts are home
They are free
To walk the ice castle with me

I wana wish you a beautiful Christmas
I wana wish that your heart is home.

Inside the snowy globe I roam
When my heart is home
Each snow flake is unique
That lands on my nose
But I am not froze
I know home is waiting
With a hot cup of cocoa
And the memories of you
When hearts are home

I wana wish you a beautiful Christmas
I wana wish that your heart is home.

Windsong
Whistles in the night
Brushes by in the light
Wind & song swoon
A soft certainty
Of perfect euphony
harmonious occasions
Without persuasion
After sunset
cares cooling
A weakening wind
Fills the air
A strengthening song
Of fear and doubt
Brought together by a strong bout
Atmospheric changes
And a sudden separation
Wind and song no longer a combination
Wind quiets her whoosh
song moves on crooning oh look at that green bush
Energy’s euphoric circulation
Marigolds Fever Jan 2019
Like the dance of a song bird
That whistles its secret
Over an icy lane
And believes
In a wishing plea
So~~~
Wish on a pine tree
Just for me
Wish down a well
But never tell
Wish on a star
Hope it goes far
Wish on a birthday candle
May it return that which
Only you can handle
Something that brings divine bliss~~~
Did you wish for a chocolate kiss?
Wish on a penny
May it fill your cup with many
Wish on founded feather
May hearts bond forever together
Wish on a four leaf clover
Don’t forget the songbird’s flyover
Wish on a dandelion
Wind carries its seed to fresh pine
Wish on an eyelash
Maybe for a little cash
Wish on a turkey wishbone
Before desserts blueberry scone
Colored rainbow high in sky
A wish to gratify~ oh my
Wish on high moon
Above a blue lagoon
Wish on digital eleven
To be granted by seven
Wish on flying ladybug
May it be returned with the tightest hug
Wish on a stone’s flat side
For a spiritual guide
Wish on coins in a fountain
Picturesque terrain
Of water~ not champagne
Acorn wishing tree
Better wish more than three
Wish as you move necklace clasp
Held tightly in your grasp
~~~
Believe in a secret you’d like to tell
One you said by a wishing well
That wishing tree
With your written ribbon of plea
Is nothing like ~~~
The wish under bright fireworks
As your angel quietly smirks...
Zza
Cheesy delectable pizza
Steaming hot sauce pie
With its crispy chewy crust
Dough soft charred bits at end
Hungry stomach says when
Live for pizza lust
Satisfies
It must.
