I loved everything about you,
Maybe a bit too much
But how could I not love
That smile
That laughter
Those eyes
That humour
That passion
How could I not love you if you were everything I’ve ever wanted.

I will take my time loving you,
Because what I know for sure.
Is that I want this to last forever.
What a wonderful thing it is,
To wake up every day with a heart searching for you.
And knowing you are always within reach,
In some way or another you are always in reach.

When I think of love I think of you,
When I think of you I think of love.
When I feel the sun the feeling is your love,
When I feel happiness from you I feel the sun.

We can watch the moon together,
And you can fall asleep on my shoulder forever.
Keep your fingers away from my belly I know how much you love to tickle,
I like hearing you, like feeling you.
Please don’t stop the holding,
When you wake I feel you unfolding.

There is a peace of being me that only exists when I’m with you,
Some days these feelings are few.
Be your true self in my loving arms,
Feel the love of my eyes and charms.

You were just human, a beautiful girl.
Until I came along and turned you into poetry,
Now you’re everything to me my beautiful pearl.
My light when it’s dark,
My fire when I’m cold.
And my reminder when I’m old.

If you could come here and say my name very close to my ear,
I’m sure the heat of us would set the world on fire.
Your soft words, mesmerising eyes I admire,
A fire so out of control the world will burn.
Nothing left but our wild fire of love at every turn.
