They say that when a heart breaks,
A loving word is all it takes,
To heal a wound time only scabbed,
To bind together a heart that's stabbed.

Love so pure,
is the simplest cure,
to healing life long hate,
so oh why wait,
or take the bait,
of a life long snatching lure.

Positivity is a light,
To guide you through the dark,
so when clouds do come,
and block the sun,
may your candle still shine bright.

This is the place where I belong.
In this land of poems,
Is where I'm strong.
And although I do not know,
What must come and who must go,
This is the home of my strongest emotions.

The mistakes I've made are in the past.
I take my steps forward, and face the full blast.
The bravest of those, confess their short comings.
But the strongest of those, retake their wings.
They don't let the past burden there flight,
They don't look back, and they don't fear night.
They've learned what is most dear, they're prepared to fight,
For what they love most, is the source of their might.

I am a mighty warrior,
This poem is my sword.
My heart is an eagle full of glory,
Like a lion have I roared.
Many wars have I fought,
So many battles have I won.
Many words have I set at not,
As many have loaded my gun.
Fearlessly I seek the truth,
I stand for what is right.
And even now within my youth,
My candle shines so bright.

You're never gonna bring me down.
My feet are already planted on the ground.
My heart is gone and now I'm fearless,
I'm tired of crying, my eyes are tearless.
I stand on my mountain, I am brave.
You shattered my life, still I forgave.
I'll never quit, I am strong.
I'll come out victorious of this battle long.
