Tallulah
Wetting your whistle
Tooting his horn
Using your body like a loaded pistol
Girl, aren’t you ashamed to be born?

A sip of alcohol by any means
Unbuttons her jeans
A tightly rolled ****
Will open her legs to any folk

For her lips are no longer sealed
With alcohol soaked breath
& Slowly her clothes are pealed
Dignity choked to death

W. H. Auden
Look, stranger, at this island now
The leaping light for your delight discovers,
Stand stable here
And silent be,
That through the channels of the ear
May wander like a river
The swaying sound of the sea.

Here at the small field's ending pause
Where the chalk wall falls to the foam, and its tall ledges
Oppose the pluck
And knock of the tide,
And the shingle scrambles after the ****-
ing surf,
and the gull lodges
A moment on its sheer side.

Far off like floating seeds the ships
Diverge on urgent voluntary errands;
And the full view
Indeed may enter
And move in memory as now these clouds do,
That pass the harbour mirror
And all the summer through the water saunter.
It is autumn; not without
But within me is the cold.
Youth and spring are all about;
It is I that have grown old.

Birds are darting through the air,
Singing, building without rest;
Life is stirring everywhere,
Save within my lonely breast.

There is silence: the dead leaves
Fall and rustle and are still;
Beats no flail upon the sheaves,
Comes no murmur from the mill.

Spider spins upon my line
I am not through while sun still shines !
Your webbing intricate to see
does nothing for the likes of me.
~~~~~~
Spider spins still unperturbed
tenacious task will not be curbed.
Exotic patterns never hurt
the waving of an empty shirt !
