Washing the Dishes
June Day Oct 1
She gave herself permission,
in the margin,
despite the invisible.
She created the space to create.
She breathed it like air
while life continued to flow like a faucet.

The Train
June Day Sep 6
The train jolts, uncertainty.
I ride. I ride. I ride. I...
Rise. I break free.
I hope when you read this you read the words "I ride. I ride. I ride." like you would read the chugging of a train. That chug - that riding - is life with compulsions. It's monotonous and isolating from the world around us.

I often find myself there in the "I...". That's the moment of contemplation, where I remember again that I can choose to respond differently.

I can choose self-compassion.
I can choose my values. I can break free.

And in case you needed to hear it, you can too. 💗

Sometimes
June Day Sep 2
Yesterday's sweet treat
Becomes today's exposure
Life moves, don't get stuck.

Here's to us.
June Day Aug 21
Hand in hand, we fit
together, we're alchemy
Love's quiet confidence
Each day, is ours
I'm thankful to be
yours

Life Lesson
June Day Aug 18
Letting go is a myth.
Have you ever tried to hold a breeze
in the palm of your hand?
We can dance in the wind
Or stand with clenched fists
Holding nothing
