it's over
I'm a loner
yes I'll get over
this won't last forever

Remember
I'm stronger
endure hunger
can resist the longer

Pain
then I'll gain
nothing will remain
for i will become sane

Game
ready for fame
task are getting lame
because they are the same

Tallulah
Night plum lips that spread
Smooth like butter across toasted bread
A tongue that tastes of apple pie
Cinnamon spice- an apple sigh

Almond eyes- chocolate brown
Wearing her hair like autumn’s crown
Golden reds her chestnut tower
Absorbs morning’s lighting hour

Blood that flows like dark red wine
Gnarled, twisted like a tree her spine
Her beauty  blooms in the late afternoon
& Sleeps under the harvest moon
Inspired by Autumn

If I had an inch I'd give you a mile
If you were a frown I'd give you a thousand smiles
I'd give you the world if you asked
But all I want you to have is my heart

I'll write you a song if that's what you want
Then tear it all up if you don't
I'll show you my mind and give you my heart
Just promise you won't rip it apart

I want to know how you are
I want to know your heart and soul
Your voice is a work of art
I wish you could be mine to hold

I never could move on from your eyes
They'd haunt me wherever I go
Quitting isn't always so bad
When giving up on the impossible

Honestly I'd be crazy not to love you
Although the effect seems the same either way
I have dreams of spending forever with you
I wonder if you'd want to stay?
2011
The Morning starts with sleepy eyes
Fragrance floats on summer wind
Beneath the covers sorry sighs
Life is short, in death to end

The Noon is time for all to grow
Fragrance floats on summer wind
And sunlight hides the world’s shadow
Life is short, in death to end

Afternoon grows long and weary
Fragrance floats on summer wind
Every answer adds a query
Life is short, in death to end

Evening finds the sun now setting
Fragrance floats on summer wind
To use twilight for forgetting
Life is short, in death to end

In the Night the eyes will close
Fragrance floats on summer wind
For undetermined time to doze
Life was short, this is the end.
This one was an assignment- to write whatever we wanted, in the style of Feste from the Twelfth Night.  So this is my "nonsense song".  Can you spot the metaphor?

The Ankh
reading poems has been my hobby
writing them was my escape
posting them was my pride
and being liked has been my accomplishment

i write poems to let loose what's within
to express what's been hiding
to utter things indirectly
to those concerned but never bothered

this is my haven
a secret place in times i am feeling forlorn
away from the real world
that brings nothing but hurt

when a stir inside occurs
that's a call for you to scribble
be able to jot anything
and be released from the excruciating pain
