The day you leave my side,
Will be a day that's filled with tears.

I'm not sure how this came to be,
This whole thing called,
You and me.
I kind of like it.
But don't tell anyone.

I fell for you when I saw your eyes,
They were filled with tears,
Just like mine.
I kept myself quiet,
You just couldn't see.

Then you found me,
So lost in your eyes.
You took a chance,
And I could finally see,
You were made so perfectly for me.

We were together,
Two kids in the sun.
Lost in our romance.
We were blinded,
By things called reality.

Now you are leaving,
My prince,
To the sea.
The service just calls you,
*But what about me?

DieingEmbers
I lick the stamp upon your letter
sealed with a kiss to make it better

press soft the edge and stroke each fold
between thumb and finger softly rolled

dripping wax to fix my seal
drinking ink of *** appeal

words soft written by my heart
keep me so close when you knee-part
Excuse the final word play

A line to make a turn
A line to buy milk
A line to buy a ticket
A line to go to school
Another line in a poem
Lines, lines, lines

As we all stand in line to die

In The End

When thoughts give rise to instinct
instinct to have all the pretty things and shiny gold
food, shelter, love
organic matter is all we are
higher brain function makes us more than a squirrel?
I think not
you see, that same squirrel
dead in the road
where is his heaven
has he not contributed to the circle of life
these thoughts have my mind decomposing
despite oxygen, despite synapses firing
in the end we all just feed the Earth
intelligent life, I think does not equate more than this gift
Not really a poem but it bugs me a lot...

DieingEmbers
I lie back
drinking in the stars
like soda
bubbles
feeling the chill
of space
that echoes the emptiness
of my arms
that beg to mimic saturns rings
encircling you
drawing you close to me
to share my night
to bathe in moonlight
naked
caressed by solar winds
like unseen lovers hands
shooting stars
trickle endlessly
through my outstretched fingers
their wishes wasted
for no where in the darkened skies
lies the heavenly body
I desire
to
call mine own
here i await
the dawn’s first light
to shrug off the cool caress
of the moonbeams
silver tinged, fingernailish beauty
i am a lustrous
princess of the deep
yet i’m here
on this sandy beach
for you sunbeam
i’d gladly leave
my home, my hearth,
everything that speaks familiarity
to welcome your strangeness
soak myself in it, imbibe it,
as i have loved the brine
now i wish to fly with you
on your gold-tipped wings
redolent of your perfumed warmth

so then sunshine,
shall we elope?

A rewrite of one of my older poems which seems to have been accidentally deleted. I could not find the backup of the poem either, so I had to rewrite it. Hopefully its better than the original (written in on 25th September, 2012).
