The cutest young lady, I have ever seen.
If angels had a kingdom, she would be the queen.
Getting prettier every single second, she has a unique beauty gene.
At first sight, you’ll think how did she become so charming at just seventeen.
You’ll wish you were immortal like the wolverine.
Because you’ll never get enough, looking at her is addictive like nicotine.
Your heart starts beating so hard, because of adrenaline.
You wonder if she's an angel, or a girl or a sweet soul in between.
Nothing on her is from real life, she has to be out of a fiction or a movie screen.
Just so natural and true like the tree’s green.
She has the blushing of a rose.
A rose of paradise I suppose.
A rose that glows.
Making all the other flowers jealous and try to copy her pose.
And swing in any way she goes.
And anything down around her, with colors and life, she would impose.
Fabulous like the crystal of ice when it snows.
Just the princess of everything.

Somewhere above god’s wide land…
I met an angel, totally unplanned…
After six long months, I held her hand…
I can’t describe the joy of it, I just can’t…
My heart went crazy every time she laughed…
Every time I look in her eyes, I get relaxed…
So elegant like a princess from the past…
I found the love of my life at last…
The days I see her go quite fast…
In the past two days, I enjoyed every second that passed…
With her presence lighting up my life, like a star blast…
The most beautiful engineer ever, no wonder my heart was hacked…
Seeing her is like a bill of happiness extract…
Her eyes, cheeks, and lips, no one can compete with that…
To every small detail of her, I am so attached…
Awesome, right? But I didn’t even start; this is the abstract…
I googled a description of an angel, and she perfectly fits…
You get delightful when you touch her fingertips…
You are living one of the most beautiful relationships…
She had fed you your favorite chips…
You are dying to kiss her cheeks and lips…
She makes you feel like a mighty prince…
On Valentine's, she gifts you your favorite strings…
She is pure like summer water springs…
She asks for being with you, with her birthday wish…
Sitting next to her is so pleasant you just wish time would freeze…
Her eyes open joy doors with secret keys…
I love her so much…
Our souls flow into each other’s heart when we touch…
Her lips look like caramel fudge…
They shine and charm…
I melted when she hugged my arm…
It was so seductive having her cheeks so close…
Blushing in the color of rose…
I’ll follow her wherever she goes…
Write for her and compose…
She has such soft, lovely skin…
Holding her took me to places I never been…
I heard new notes played on the violin…
Everything about being with her is a win…
I am neither an expert nor a professor...
But our fingers fit perfectly together…
Being with her is so much pleasure…
Incredibly beautiful and yet so clever...
I can’t imagine how lovely it would be to sleep next to her every night…
To hear her heartbeat when every sound goes quiet…
And as she goes asleep, I hug her so tight...

Your lips, a canvas of beauty, no need for strawberry or cinnamon hue,
Charismatic smile, an enchantment that turns my world askew.
Soft blushing cheeks, irresistible and true,
Leaving my kiss, a testament to the love that grew.

Your voice, a daily symphony, a melody of delight,
In your hug, a kingly realm, ruling from a golden height.
Strength surges, mountainous might,
Cracking stone like sandstone, a powerful light.

Describing you, complex yet simple,
Nature altered, storms wild and gentle.
A fusion of beautiful things, in assembly,
Extraordinary, every cell, your charm reaching through to me.

Heaven's gates opened wide, a platinum fair square,
Falling in love, bidding old life "Farewell" in the air.
Our love story on paper, the first letters spell,
Of a princess and a man, the happiest, I tell.

Peace and comfort fill my heart, a divine art,
As profound as the Quran's soothing start.
Every second, thoughts of you span,
Our love's inception, a tale that began.

Now, everything orbits you, no room for vain,
Staying away, a maddening refrain.
Life without you, plain and mundane,
In your eyes, the universe's deepest mystery, I gain.

Apologies for any lapse in gratitude,
February unfolds in the most amazing magnitude.
Living each moment in your company,
A chapter in our love story's symphony.

Girl, you charm from every angle.
All the cuteness of the world, you can handle.
I guess you were sent from heaven as a sample.
Your smile is a light-bringing candle.
That can light all the way from Vegas to Bangkok.
You had the mystery of my heart unlocked.
Since day one, when at you I looked.
All my feelings and senses were hooked.
My life and being were rocked.
Down off the horse of ego, I was knocked.
Then I flew up high as if gravity was no more, as if the field went to zero.
Because, I found you, my love hero.
Who knew.
I thought that I was destined to live in a torturing loveless hell.
But now that I fell.
How can’t you just love her with every cell.
Falling deep for her eye’s spell.
I know that my eyes tell.
Well, my eyes are just reflecting her magical smile...
I now know that I was created to admire.
Loving like never before.
Love made of warm chilling fire.

Adorableness that cradles my heart in sweet release,
Cheeks as pretty as late spring peaches, a masterpiece.
Cozy warmth akin to a sunset on sandy beaches,
Eyes where the allure of heaven perpetually reaches.

Lips that grow sweeter with each lingering kiss,
An angelic presence, oh how I miss.
Every second without you feels like waste,
In your embrace, my heart finds its place.

Darling, your waist, a marvel to embrace,
With you, every moment, my heart finds its pace.
My soul realized it was misplaced,
With you, dear, it stays, forever encased.

In your love, I'm continually dazed,
Kisses tasting of honey, sugar-glazed.
You, a sweet concoction, a delight,
In your adorableness, my heart takes flight.

This poem aspires to repair,
Yet won't ask for a forced cheer.
For different symptoms it tends to find,
Whether heart or spirit, troubles in the mind.

Cracks in hearts from harsh words spoken,
Breaking, by hearts that were once frozen.
Time and distance can work to heal,
A new heart grows, forged from steel.

If it's the spirit, beyond my expertise,
Yet a call to a loved one may bring release.
In her absence, exploit what she does best,
Connect, talk, and let the spirit invest.

She may not be physically there,
But her essence, her love, everywhere.
The healing journey may take its time,
Yet through connection, the spirits will climb.

No need for poems to dictate how to feel,
Just reach out, communicate, and let it heal.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
This poem is meant to repair,
Won't just ask you to "cheer up," that wouldn't be fair.
Different symptoms, but it's either the heart or spirit,
Neither could heal alone; together, we'll find the merit.

Hearts crack when rough words are spoken,
Broken by others whose hearts have been frozen.
Luckily, time and distance can heal,
A new heart grows, sturdy as steel.

No need for poems to tell you how to feel,
Once the last traces of ice are gone, the heart will zeal.
If it's the spirit, beyond my expertise' limit,
But call someone you love, talk for a minute.

From my experience, that's a spirit refueling ticket,
I know you'd prefer she was there to pick it.
For now, exploit her skills at their best,
It's a temporary remedy until you're together, no jest.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
I recall the days of sharing cookies,
You pulling me from my hoodie,
Kindergarten memories, oh, so silly,
You, my childhood buddy.

The fortress beneath the table, a tale,
White sheets draped like a sail.
Barbecues, parks, wherever we'd meet,
Childhood moments, oh, so sweet.

Separated at a mall, families split,
In every memory, your presence lit.
Parents shared stories, but I knew,
Our bond was strong, forever true.

Playing, studying, sharing tests,
English lessons, I did my best.
From lasers to infrared,
Dreams of an engineer, the path we tread.

Helping you grow, learn, and invest,
A dentist's journey, different but blessed.
You could have been on the west,
Yet, our friendship stood the test.

Proudly, you claim the title,
My first friend, our bond so vital.
Longest friendship, a cherished connection,
A journey through time, our shared affection.

Love falls after midnight's descent,
On the range of my heart, its event.
She won't escape my heart's satellite,
Chatting, talking, living, every transmitted byte.
Candlelight's charm now takes a backseat,
Staying up late, a new love feat.
Texting, sending emotions, mobiles aglow,
Bright rooms with laptops, love's soft glow.
Laying on beds or desks upright,
Being together, such a delight.

After midnight, love flames ignite,
Lovers side by side, the fun takes flight.
Interrupting sleep, it overrides,
Love, an ocean with moonlit tides.
The night has its ups and downs,
A notification lifts your ceiling, opens skies.
A late reply keeps you with sleepy eyes.
A text, a twice-read delight,
Or another, cold as ice.
Tears and smiles, from close to miles,
Love's journey spans varied styles.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
Past midnight, I am going through her photos...
My love is prettier than the most elegant rose...
The cutest eyes, cheeks, lips, and nose...
Not just roses, she’s prettier than all flowers...
I can set down look at her for hours...
I can even keep looking for a year...
Around you, everything is clear...
I will always be yours and forever to you, I’ll be sincere...
Babe, you are my atmosphere...
I wish you were here...
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
In gratitude, I extend my sincere thanks,
For raising a gem with virtues and ranks.
An astonishing young lady, elegant and sweet,
In your guidance, she grew complete.

Sarcastic wit and grace she acquired,
In your care, her essence transpired.
Grateful for the purity and faithfulness instilled,
From chaos to stability, she skilled.

Every facet of her radiates an ideal glow,
A real-life princess in this tale we know.
I promise to keep her safe and sound,
Forever, in love, our hearts are bound.

When your blessing crowned our union,
Honor and joy, a harmonious communion.
Your daughter enriches my life each day,
In your legacy, we find our way.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
Honey, you're alive and real, a vibrant zeal,
The way you make me feel, every emotion ideal.
In love with you, my dear, the weeks feel like a year,
You're my atmosphere, my sweet little engineer.

I wish I were near, being around you, paradise sincere,
My heart already adheres, to yours so clear.
In our love world, you and I claim first and second,
Everyone else, a distant third, love's testament.

Your voice, the most beautiful I've ever heard,
You, my sweet loving bird, my lifetime dream assured.
Clear as crystal, nothing is blurred,
Promise to never hurt, a vow from the start secured.

Deep down inside my heart, you'll reside,
In love's journey, with you, as my guide.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
Your lips are gorgeous, you don't need lipsticks with the color of strawberry or cinnamon...
You own a charismatic smile that turns me on...
Enchanting and irresistible soft blushing cheeks, I couldn't help it but leave my kiss on...
I don't know how I would live if I did not hear your pleasant voice daily, on the phone...
When you hug me, I am the greatest king ruling the world from my golden throne...
In your arms, I am so strong I can crack down a mountain as if it was a sandstone...
Writing about you is complex, difficult but rather so simple...
Your stunning existence, ultra-normal beauty alters nature creating storms which are outrageous and still so gentle...
You are beautiful things agreed to come together and assemble...
You are extraordinary on the level of every cell...
And your charm reaches down to my cells to fill it with happiness as far as I can tell...
Heaven opened its platinum gates widely fair square to me when in your love, I fell...
I walked proudly in your heaven and said to my old life, “Farewell”...
Laying on papers the first letters to our love story novel...
That talks about you, the pretty princess, and I, who you made the happiest man...
And how you filled my heart with peace and comfort, just like the feelings brought to the heart when listening to the Quran...
And how I have been thinking about you every second since it all began...
Everything is about you now, I am no longer getting close to being vain...
I hate staying away from you, it drives me insane...
Life with all its amusements without you seems quite plain...
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
When she whispers "my love," I ascend to a blessed isle,
Where trees, crafted from diamonds, sway with a golden smile.
Sand, a powder of gold, beneath clouds of marshmallow,
Rivers of butter flow, and colorful flowers in a magical show.

Populated solely by angels, it's there we scribe our love's first page,
A kiss in that realm, a timeless embrace.
With each endearment, a "darling" that she utters,
Life transforms into a charming movie, where my heart flutters.

Every moment echoes the first, a sensation enthralling,
A promise to keep you safe, my devotion endlessly sprawling.
In your presence, peace of mind and a heart so fruitful,
Heaven finds a home in our house, love beyond any dispute.

No doubts accompany my love; it stands steadfast,
Your words, a melody, make my heart bounce so vast.
With each utterance of my name, love rekindles,
Grateful for the symphony, where your love continually twinkles.

For unveiling the true cadence of love, I extend my thanks,
Above the clouds, your love elevates me in joyful ranks.
A desire to traverse the world's towns hand in hand,
Loving you, my commitment, spans across all God's lands.

Our love, a journey of highs, devoid of any downs,
In the realm of love, every small gesture, each word resounds.
Forever I pledge, keeping vows unfurled,
Age and time powerless to alter the ruling of your love, my world.

More profound than love songs ever sung,
With you, my life beautifully begun.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
She's in the charm of Hagia Sophia's interior,
Finesse of Alhambra's palace gardens, a visual superior.
Far surpassing Andalusia's arches,
Her laughter, the cheer of gothic stained glass marches.

Beauty drawn with Islamic decoration's details,
Prettier than any in worldly trails.
Her eyes, a meditation's peaceful retreat,
Outshining the Greek Parthenon's seat.

Combining Doric simplicity with Corinthian glamour,
Marvelous as the Pantheon's interior.
In blue and yellow Arab decorative geometry,
Her name whispered gently, a silent symphony.

Look, search, and see,
She's the masterpiece of the past centuries, undoubtedly.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
A thought of her sets me on fire,
In my heart, a growing desire.
Butterflies, a singing choir,
My joy supplier.

Every beep of my notifier,
Wishing it's her, my joy amplifier.
Adorable smile, magical twinkling eyes,
Captivating from a mile.

A year passes, feels like a while,
Dreaming of her every bedtime mile.
Falling every morning and night,
Tradable with nothing, her smile's light.

Innocence in her smile conveys,
Her face not made to frown, always.
Whatever it takes to keep,
Her angelic smile, precious and deep.

She smiles a silent tune,
Beautiful as a full moon.
Scented with an odorless perfume,
Wonderful like a blossom in bloom.

Simply, she is awesome,
A living daydream, so fearsome.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
I whispered promises of a kiss so tender,
To touch her cheeks, gaze into her eyes, emotions surrender.
Her lips, the elixir to my burning soul's ember,
A kiss, where a new star is born, our love will render.

In the realm of kisses, where magic does dwell,
Supernatural spells, like tales lovers tell.
Dreaming of this kiss since the moment I fell,
A taste, strawberry or chocolate, I cannot foretell.

Her lips, sweeter than a sugar frosted date,
Anticipating the moment, don't want to be late.
Love, passion, affection, in the kiss amalgamate,
When I kiss her, I'll navigate a celestial fate.

I bet when our lips meet, I'll lose my way,
Dizzy, unable to walk straight, love's display.
Celebrating the union, all parts of me in a ballet,
Kissing her, a symphony, an enchanting ballet.

Living together, nights of hugs so late,
Drawing kisses on her lips, a delicate slate.
Under the night sky, stars we create,
Our first kiss, a memory we'll forever celebrate.

For my girl, the prettiest angel ever made,
Every kiss a testament to the love we've laid.
Islam Marzouk Dec 2018
In your beauty, God, an exquisite tale,
Accelerating inward, your magical spell prevails.
Describing the loveliness with you, I fail,
Once a poet, now words pale.

Living away, it's a hellish swell,
Every moment, missing you, a story cells tell.
Thrown words lost in beauty's endless well,
You, a priceless pearl, and I, your shell.
Islam Marzouk Dec 2018
A beautiful fantasy, now my reality,
Brightest star in my galaxy, your majesty.
Hold on with Jupiter's gravity,
Love me in sanity and insanity.

Loving you with my heart's full capacity,
Adoring each part of your anatomy.
Ask anything, gladly done happily,
In a few months, our love turns to a family.

You'll be all mine, cuddling all the time,
Chilling on a beach, sipping ice-cold lime.
My lady, treated so fine,
Together on cloud nine, our love to climb.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
Behind my door, a refuge I find,
Wooden floor bears scars of love's cruel grind.
An injured soldier, love's aftermath,
A knife in my soul, a silent warpath.

In love's battles, no victor emerges,
Memories linger, the pain converges.
Recovery's facade, a cracking core,
Discarding memories, a relentless chore.

Shadows of oaths, loyalty's ghost,
Strength in silence, hurt the most.
Behind closed doors, emotions secure,
A sanctuary for the heart's obscure.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
A dream held long, now unfolds in view,
Becoming official, a journey with you.
Marrying you, the pinnacle of truth,
Life sheds its artificial, welcomes the youth.

Seconds pivot, embracing the new,
Ten months of beauty, a love that grew.
Together we thrived through every mood,
A tapestry of moments, deliciously good.

In days to come, suits and dresses we'll don,
Approaching your father, a question to spawn.
On cloud nine, I shall reside,
As you become mine, in love we'll confide.

Wearing the title of husband and wife,
Embarking together on this journey of life.
A union sealed, bound by time,
Forever yours, eternally mine.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
I need you to read between my lines,
In a few steps, cover what could be covered in miles.
I'm sure you'll get it when everything aligns,
But it's not cool making lemonade out of limes.

That's the norm; sometimes you need to go pro,
If this poem didn't work, perhaps vines I'll throw.
Everything rhymes, it's going super awesome,
Let's open up some minds and free them from the blossom.

Around you, I figure there's more to my laughs and smiles,
Life hides other sides, taking you by surprise in its styles.
You bring blue open skies beneath my ceiling tiles,
Love the talks and sarcasm, everything between and within.

Fun is different with you, a twist or a spin,
Smart and funny, you're a perfect ten.
If life was a guitar, you'd be my favorite string,
Strummed, your resonance brings peacefulness.

When it stops, I actually kind of miss,
The melody that's filled with bliss.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
Beyond the confines of love, our journey takes flight,
You and I, entwined elements, bound by a celestial light.
In our togetherness, love's enigma finds resolution,
A hundred years of passion condensed into days of fusion.

Expressions of affection, myriad in their display,
Our love, an ethereal force, filling the cosmic array.
A spectacle destined to astound and daze,
In every moment, we weave a tale of awe-inspiring blaze.

Blessing each space touched by our love's grace,
A serenity akin to a white dove's embrace.
Greatness defines us, an awesome phenomenon,
In a million blossoms, our identity is drawn.

The heat of our love, surpassing the sun's fiery glow,
Together, an embodiment of joy, a pure, ecstatic show.
Every love song ever sung finds echoes in our embrace,
Spirits ablaze, passionate and eternally young in pace.

Our souls, crafted from the essence of gold,
A love, though new, ancient tales it unfolds.
Beyond time, we stand, a testament so bold,
In the ageless story of love, forever to be told.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
She gives me that feeling,
Beyond my ceiling, so appealing.
Totally endearing, admiration revealing,
Her gorgeous smile, always in style.

Combining purity of a white Lily,
Scented Tulip, and an artistic pink Rose so frilly.
Elegance of Saffron, grace of Jasmine,
Gentleness of Daisy, innocence, and hymn.

Beauty of a million Alyssum,
With the simplicity of a dark purple Violet's kingdom.
Not sure if I've captured her essence yet,
But she lives in every happy thought I get.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
Blessed by your existence, a profound grace,
Feeling the beats of your heart, in every distance.
My love flowing into your soul, no resistance,
Growing exponentially, an enduring instance.

I'd never leave your side if given a chance,
Falling deeply for your eyes, from the first glance.
Can't wait until you're all mine, our hearts in advance,
Longing for the day, in the white dress, we dance.

Being with you tops all my plans,
Only you matter, not the land or the place.
In outer space, I'd stick to you, embrace,
"I love you" transcends, not just a phrase.

"I love you" holds the warmth of winter sun's rays,
Carries the peace any instrument plays.
"I love you" encapsulates beautiful things in all ways,
A love that deepens with each passing day.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
She's blushing,
And I am crushing.
Feelings explode, an implosion,
Enough to boil an ocean,
Even if it was frozen.

Crack my heart open,
Only "I love her" will be spoken,
Won't stop, even if diamonds were broken.
She's super sweet, in pink, white, or blue,
A week ago, on the road I flew.

In my best mood, excitement subdued,
When I saw you, my soul glowed,
Love coursing through my blood vessels flowed.
Fell for all of you, your smile, good heart, and codes.

What I like about you?
You're comfortable to be around,
Filled with hope, covering from the moon to the ground.
When you talk, love the way you sound,
Wouldn't trade you for a billion pound.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
Sometimes, I feel like I'm running out of words,
Millions of sentences, nouns, and verbs.
Metaphors for flowers and birds,
Engineering knowledge, bits, and servers.

Topics ranging from likes to nerve-wracking curves,
Poems about books, songs, from big firms.
When inspiration strikes, I write on my terms,
Everything getting what it deserves.

Then came you,
And I discovered my best words anew.
Hidden in my heart, waiting for a cue,
Only you can bring them into view.

When it's you, my heart takes control of my pen,
Close my eyes, count to ten.
And there it goes, a poem, brand new,
Crafted from the depths of my feelings for you.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
Five years since we became peers,
Joking around, choosing careers.
From circuit labs to communication's spheres,
Making memories, laughing through the years.

Springs, falls, summers, rocking this hemisphere,
Whatever happens, we run the laughing gears.
Cool as it takes to be electrical engineers,
Even in the stillness of Computer Architecture.

Survived every lecture with 9gag and Twitter,
No quitter, one word: 16-bit subtractor.
Drawing nuclear reactors in gates, a daring feature,
Software for industry, a brain-fraction fracture.

Studying for midterms, vending machine cuisine,
Driving to ADNOC at 6 am, caffeine.
Breaking every boring routine,
Selfies, events, stories, each a vivid scene.

Our friendship, a tale that will extend,
Not the end, memories transcend.
A few years feeling like centuries,
Him mocking me with my guitar melodies.

TAQA's Hybrid Electrical car,
Female drivers black flagged, leaving a scar.
Shampoo, soap, bath gel, toothpaste (LOL) in a jar,
Wondering how to calculate the buffer from afar.

Memon made us suffer, but in the end,
Now I have a brother, a lifelong friend.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
I figured I miss you so much, totally cannot sleep,
My heart pumping that feeling, around so deep.
Surprised how my heart can be away and still beat,
Introducing "Cubic missing elite," a poetic feat.

The ultimate missing, nothing can compete,
Going numb, basic functions freeze, can't even tweet.
God, how did you become so sweet,
Hugging you, a heavenly treat.

Looking for a shooting star to grant me a wish,
Obviously, a kiss from the angel I truly miss.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
In the night sky of navy blue,
A sparkling rose diamond, over you.
Blushing like peach flowers,
A beauty with superpowers.
She's an angel in the navy hue,
Captivating for hours and hours.

In mornings, the elegance of dark brown trees,
Olive green leaves, a serene tease.
One look captures souls, leaves,
Painting grey, erasing griefs.
Nothing but smiles and happy tears,
By sunset, warmness in the orange shears.

Doesn't knock, just comes in,
Sun borrowing shades of pumpkin.
In music, every note of a gold violin,
A twinkling smile makes heads spin.
Lose track, asking what happened, when,
A feeling taking over, love my friend.

The start of the end, love always an end,
Happy, sad, or a blend.
Fell for her, cupid's arrow descends,
Or she'd rather be your friend.
A blend, nature disapproves,
But a real lover can undo.

You know so little, my heart,
Her smile is just the start.
She hands you a paper, it's blank,
Loves coloring with all colors, except black.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
Angels, they say, reside in the sky,
But since meeting her, that seemed a lie.
Describing her as a person won't apply,
She's an angel, no need to clarify.

Anything touched by her soul does purify,
In our conversations, time would swiftly fly.
Seconds from "Hi!" to a swift "Goodbye!"
Fuels up the spirit, reaching the sky.

Her sweet smile, those twinkling eyes,
Or her personality, appealing and wise?
It's generated from somewhere inside,
Her mind, conducting a symphony with pride.

A beautiful field with a uni-pole,
Her fabulous mind plays a vital role.
Mastering everything, smooth and under control,
Generating a spiritual energy, taking its toll.

From high to low, energy's flow,
Filling you up, a life-changing show.
A special energy, strength in tow,
Passion, love, vitality in its glow.

Not the energy we're familiar with, you see,
But something unique, as precious as can be.
Feel it through your bones, down to a tee,
She provides the equation, solving the mystery.

Listen closely, she broadcasts in tones,
Frequencies of love, and energy zones.
A few hours and minutes, but beyond time's limits,
Moments that resonate with feelings and spirits.

Though words may have been few,
The conversations were a parallel view.
In a universe where she's the only star,
A princess unstoppable, reaching afar.

Late at night, a cover she sent my way,
"Happy" by Boyce Avenue, a musical display.
The feelings described in that melody,
Simply put, she's Mrs. Perfection in reality.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
Crossed my sight, cello in play,
Adorably beautiful, dressed in yellow array.
A second, yet time moved ever so slow,
She took my mind, hands still moving the bow.
If we could skip the pages, end the show,
Find a way to make her stay, oh!

My cello calls her name, unknown,
Bar after bar, playing, praying, she won't go.
Now at the chamber's door,
She left, I can't see her anymore.
Desperately playing, my score,
Curtain closed, symphony no more.

End of the story, or so I supposed,
Little did I know, fate juxtaposed.
Months later, quartet plays Beethoven's 131,
Out of the blue, she enters, a welcome rerun.
Heart dancing, a one-man show begun,
Off the stage, I flew, yellow dress, the same one.

This time, she stayed beyond the clapping,
After whistles blown, in yellow, still captivating.
Islam Marzouk Dec 2018
Wishing the moon would explode, end the day.
Feeling grumpy and low, a mood astray,
The love of my life is near, yet I can't convey.

Stuck and unfair, unable to reach,
To express my love, lessons life teaches.
Nothing else interests, for what else to care,
All energy spent, kisses taken in the air.

Now, just sitting, reading a book,
Interesting to me, but to her, it may look
Dull, my patience overflowing,
Can't take it, the longing keeps growing.

Here for you, not everyone in view,
Sick of everything, craving some amour.
Missing hugs, yearning for a tour,
Time moves slow, the distance I abhor.

I can't reach you, high while I'm low,
Only touching you makes my heart's glow.
Marry me, be mine to the end of time,
Never leaving you, a promise, love sublime.

I love you more than chocolate's sweet delight,
Missing your smile exceeds what I can bear in the night.
Wishing your year ahead is truly great,
Happy Birthday from this distant state.

Dedicating all the twinkling, beautiful things,
To you, the joy and happiness they bring.
Keep being crazy, don't let sanity rule,
Immaturity and craziness, are sometimes, life's true fuel.

Little things matter, often the deepest cure,
Thank you for everything, your presence so pure.
My poetry skills may be poor,
But the love in my heart, forever and more.

You claim a strong heart, resolute and bold,
Yet, all women's hearts, tales of clay unfold.
Perhaps a departure left scars to replay,
Or love's nuances painted life in shades of gray.

Whether you've loved deeply or stayed away,
Your experiences shape the words you convey.
Love's a dance, sometimes a disarray,
A rhythm you navigate, night and day.

In our brief exchange, a glimpse on display,
One facet revealed, in a conversational relay.
Sweetheart, you're a gem, no need to betray,
Envy may linger, for the lucky one in your array.

She holds all the decency of black,
Confident but doesn't brag.
Real, no mask to track,
A million thoughts, a face of blank.
Life without her, a potential heart attack.

Meeting her makes you wish,
Life could go back, a beautiful dish.
If only there was a life hack,
She's a flower swaying like a flag.
Moved by the wind, yet carries the flag's prestige,
Something pulls you towards her, no resistance, no fatigue.

Is she human or an angel, you lag,
No human this pretty, no angel in the city.
Then you realize how silly,
In a world with sweet chili,
There must be an angelic young lady.

I wish I could take you for an evening ride,
Drive to the desert, under starlight, we'd hide.
Lay down on the sand, hold hands side by side,
Into the world of love, your heart as my guide.

When it gets late, I'll hug you until hearts are unified,
Lips meeting cheeks, to yours, they just might slide.
I'll kiss all the way through the night,
Until morning shines brightly, love in its light.

You'll be the princess of everything, and I your medieval knight,
Then I'd drive you home, make pancakes, and tuck you in tight.
Play a playlist of classical violin,
Laying beside you, quiet but my heart singing.

About how you beautify every single thing,
In this serene moment, my heart takes wing.

D, C sharp, G flat, or an E,
Touches each key, a melody so free.
An old tune, a cherished memory,
Holds a part of me, captivates my legacy.
Sound, chaos energy it might be,
Can make you smile, dance, frown, or cry.

Major scales, the happy trails,
Leave nothing but pain, why?
The last piece played before goodbye,
A seed of joy, deep through cells it flies.
Puts you on top like a king,
Happiness it brings, pleasure's sweet sting.
G major chords, back to the ring,
Patterns played, can't help but sing.

Bass notes, winter chills in spring,
Low long violin notes, goosebumps cling.
High notes take you where you've never been,
Age, color, women, or men,
Heart synchronizes with the drum's beat,
Legs tapping, neat band feat.

Attached to every part, getting their heat,
Warming the soul, making you complete.
Background sound of an orchestra, boson, and horn,
Takes your soul away, reborn.
A combination of notes, Do Re Mi,
Exactly seven, your own heavenly spree.

All lights extinguished, I lie in bed,
Gorgeous feelings in my heart and head.
The day's energy fueled by love we've said,
Reaching my brain's stem, into REM, I'm led.

Into my unconscious mind, a swim, a flow,
Following the stream, thoughts gather and grow.
Building a background theme, as my soul paints the dream,
Pictures of you emerge, a surreal and vibrant scene.

It begins; I'm seated, playing my guitar,
You by my side, twinkling as a star.
A lucid dream, for you're actually far,
An ache lingers, a scar on my heart's radar.

Being away from you, it hurts, leaves a mark,
Yet, having you in dreams keeps me in the dark.
Deadly in love, unsure if my words are showing,
With you, always, in dreams or reality, continuously glowing.

Finishing carrot cake, spraying cream with grace,
Kettle whistling, steam flying in a heated race.
Tea leaves racing, shades of orange downstream,
Perfect she sits, watching your morning dream.
Depth of her eyes, a theme of pureness,
Flawless moment, or so it seems.
A second later, a dream, feelings extreme,
Beneath the ceiling, a silent scream.

She's gone, it's the end,
Lover back to a friend.
Fooling the mind to sleep, hoping for an extent,
Not possible, you lost your queen, the silent lament.
Show over, red curtains on the screen,
Again, what time is this, the fifteenth?
It hurts, giving up sleep, caffeine's sheen,
Not a machine, but it's always her, in your bloodstream.

Learned from dreams, boat or mountain ravine,
Places don't matter, her presence, the perfect scene.

Whatever it takes to bring her joy,
Smoothly, classy, I'm her sailor, love my ploy.
Love, my sea, where I navigate with skill,
On the count of three, the world I'll fulfill.

World serving Her Highness, my decree,
If winter bothers, I'll raise the Earth, just for her to see.
Fighting stress, keeping her away from mess,
Lover, servant, assistant, chef, no task to confess.

Everything she needs, nothing less,
In love's journey, my unwavering compass.
A sailor pledged, devotion unfurls,
Navigating the seas, around the world.

Aren’t you just easy to dream about,
With that smile of yours, I cannot doubt.
Are those cheeks made of cherry?
Because I’ve never seen those before, they are not ordinary.
How about those lips, are they strawberry?
The perfect combination of everything, you're just Legendary.
With that hair falling down framing that masterpiece of God, just imaginary.

You took me to another world, literally.
You’re not just someone, that would pass by my life and I would just miss.
Doing all this,
To the guy who is likely impossible to impress.
You must be something special, a young princess with a bless.
You are adorable as it gets,
Soul-capturing like when Beethoven is played by quartets.
Peaceful like when an angel sings,
You're flawless like a Mozart’s concerto of clarinets and strings.
A conversation with you stays attractive however it swings,
Young and alive like violins.

And I guess this is how this poem ends.

In the dance of deception, your steps entwined,
A betrayal veiled, a sinister design.
In shadows, you orchestrated my demise,
A symphony of deceit, a mask of lies.

Initially, you wore decency like a guise,
Yet, lessons taught you well in love's demise.
Heartless, you stand, a creation untamed,
No justification, a soul unclaimed.

Regret echoes in the aftermath's haze,
A dance floor memory, lost in a maze.
Why cheat, I thought the only rival was me.
Each sunrise, questioning what we could be.

Crazy, I am, unraveling the threads,
Did you care, or just fill empty beds?
Shoot my heart, revel in the blast,
Moon tears fall, a heart trapped and cast.

In squares of ignorance, lies, and despair,
Tied with sides of sorrow, depression, and care.
I walk away, weak and weary,
In the noon's darkness, an ocean's dreary.

Trapped heart, searching for love to consume,
In the depths, a silent, mournful gloom.
Now I ponder what truly matters,
Unspoken, the rescue from love's shattered splatters.

Griefs dissipate with her smile and gentle talk,
Clearing my heart, as if sadness were shallow chalk.
Her words, unbidden, pierce straight to the core,
No need for permission, no need to implore.

Heaven defined, in her presence around the clock,
Witnessing her charm, time ticking, tock by tock.
Her love, a pure essence, unmatched in its flow,
A love doctor's diagnosis, an eternal glow.

A love that mirrors the legendary oak,
From a seed, it grows, a testament bespoke.
Witnessing its vastness, a stunning shock,
She's the one I can't replace, the key to the lock.

Traversed the Earth, yet she's not from this space,
Heavenly origins, an otherworldly embrace.
In a few months, a place we'll call our own,
Kisses frequent, as our love has grown.

In our togetherness, love's mysteries unfold,
A hundred years' worth in days, we're told.

Expressions of affection, diverse and grand,
Our love's potential reaches outer space and land.
Meant to amaze, in every gaze,
Blessing each spot where our love plays.

Like a peaceful dove in flight,
We are great, awesome, a million blossoms bright.
The heat of our love outshines the sun,
Together, we're pure fun, every love song spun.

Passionate spirits, souls of gold,
Our love, though new, feels incredibly old.
Bound in a timeless embrace, we hold,
A love story eternally told.

In the lounge of your love, completeness I find,
A power surging through, making me elite, love's bind.
A year ago, destiny paved our path to meet,
On that day, I sensed my first heartbeat.

Life, once a mystery, turned undeniably sweet,
Our initial conversation, a burst like Christmas eve's fleet.
Yet, I kept it discreet, a simplicity to evolve,
The first encounter, a quiet resolve.

I wished to assure you, "I'll take it from here,
Relax in the backseat, let love persevere."
You brought chilling peace, a warmth with ease,
My heart, a canvas, you painted with grace and finesse.

In the gallery of my mind, you were an envisioned masterpiece,
My dear wife, the missing piece.
You stole my heart swiftly, a thief in the night,
Cupid's arrow, the love police, locking you in, sealing our plight.

Now, in this timeless moment, let our kisses release,
An eternal dance, as time itself shall freeze.

Love, not just a strong emotion's reflection,
A flame hotter than the sun's core, a cosmic connection.
Heart's warmth when a lover is near,
Fear of losing her, love's greatest frontier.

Beautiful is love, but she is different,
Everything I wished for, she's my life's intent.
More than I live for, adore her with every breath,
Escape to a mighty shore, eyes deeply caressed.

Around her, feelings like never before,
A shared life, no more you and I, it's forevermore.
Choosing to share, creating an eternal we,
In the symphony of love, a harmonious decree.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
And still, tears stream down my face,
Until my eyes exhaust every trace.
Odd, perhaps, for a man to cry,
Yet, an empty sky can't deny.

How I wish to hold your waist,
On the dance floor, with elegance and grace.
Swaying steps, lost in your eyes,
The pain of goodbye, a hurtful surprise.

You vanish from my sight but not my mind,
Missing you is a challenge, a love that's hard to find.
My heart goes into a state of disarray,
Creating pain, love's strange display.

Nothing is the same when you're not near,
Happiness eludes, replaced by fear.
Attempts to find joy seem in vain,
Chained by a love, an unbreakable strain.

Even after vows were shared,
To witness you becoming my life, my declared.
Still, no right to keep you close,
The wait persists until our own house.

A future where leaving is no more,
Together, in love, our spirits will soar.
Islam Marzouk Feb 2019
She visits my dreams in a gown so divine,
Pearl white, enchanting, like a sparkling sign.
In every night, she looks incredibly fine,
An entwined vision that my eyes can't decline.

Lost in time as I gaze upon her face,
Realizing she's the one, my heart's rapid pace.
In her embrace, destiny and fate trace,
My heart confirms, accelerating its chase.

It takes a moment to gather my wits,
To ask her for a dance, create enchanting fits.
Dancing to Mà Vlast, hands around her waist,
All the moments before her, now gone to waste.

The remaining seconds, all dedicated to her,
Dancing, smiling, laughter, a magical blur.
Jumping like music notes from staff to staff,
From Treble clef to bass, life on pause, epitome of love's craft.

Her cuteness defies all defining laws,
A smile as natural as waterfalls.
Every time she talks in every dream,
Love recurs, a recurring theme.
