Tea Garden (01)
Md Iqbal Hossen Jun 2019
Oh, Green! How far are you stretching your line?
The zigzag road, evergreen charm
And smell of fresh leaves
How long do you hold?

I walk in the dense of your heart
And see various species of birds, reptiles
Colourful snakes, and lucrative glee of nature
But never finds your horizon.

it seems to me you are either a vast ocean,
Where Aurora rises at the beginning of the day
And sinks into the water at the end
Or an unconfined quilt of green.

Whatever you are,
Your astounding ability gazes me
Turns me back to my "tabor sound"
where I hear all the sounds of childhood
Reverberate in your lap

Claptrap
Md Iqbal Hossen Jun 2018
They came to your home to see you.
You worn a blue sari
Kept your eyes like a deer's eyes.
You did't comb your hair,
Though it was not need to be.
You were simply gorgeous.
So, comb was vain to your beauty.
You used props, lipstick, and so many things on thy face.
They surprised,especially your fiance.
He was not accustomed with your such appearance.
He knew you are pretty than queen Sheba
More destructive than Helen
More Affectionate than Mighty Aphrodite
And more prosperous than Athena.
In spite of all, you took props excepts comb of your hair.
Everyone praised you a lot.
No one could understand your claptrap but he
He smiled at you
And you returned it with a wink.

Vacation
Md Iqbal Hossen Jun 2018
Vacation! it is a night mare to them.
They have no Eid, Christmas, and any festivals.
Their duty stats from the light to dust.
Even in any great festivals,  they become nothing but workers.
They have no vacation till their death.
They struggle and vacation waits for them

The Sky
Md Iqbal Hossen May 2018
Let them fly in the sky
Their limit will never be confined.
They are unbound Prometheus
Who dares to hold their mind?

The are the sparkling fire
They are the flame
They are the diamond mine
In the coal frame.

They are the tidal river
They are the waves
The are the moonsoon rain
In the cave's Shade.

They are the Roman Casear
They are the hero
They can change impossible
As daylights true.

They are all unstopable
Anywhere can fit
Dream is their unbounded
Sky is the limit.

The Life
Md Iqbal Hossen Apr 2018
Life! it is worthless
Until it works for others.
It starts like a mornig dew
And meets some cruel time of short living
It knows, tge time is too short to live
Although he boasts, and feel proud for his glory.
Its mission most often fails to come into action
It burns, stumbles, sometime casts away.
Glory is the goal of life.
Don't run after that.
Life! it is very short like the morning dew
Nurish it up so that all can see you
life, death, duration

Darkness
Md Iqbal Hossen Apr 2018
Electricity has gone just few minutes ago.
I am sitting in the room along with darkness.
Some crickets are singing around me.
Sudenly, I looked at my window
The tree and its leaves remain silent
As if they were not in mood.
A pale, moody surroundings grasp  the all
No joys, no shights, and no emotion are working
In that exact time, some lights are twinkling in my eyes.
It garbs my attention.
I saw a host of fireflies.
They are lighting around me.
Crickets, and insects start their music with different tone
Frogs drums in the dark.
Whispering of people is making a choras.
Whole darkness, now, is an ipmaired music store
That unconciously declares the glory of drakness.
Nobody hears, nobody cares in this ark,
I am only the listener along with this dark.

Intentional Smile
Md Iqbal Hossen Mar 2018
The artistic gesture reflects in your face.
You hide it, chide it, tied it with a glow.
No one looks, but the vulture can see
How could you escape from his eyes!
you tossed your head, glad to watch the glee
While superiors are looking at back to make a copy
They unintentionally follow, you got boosted up
Laugh at them either ironically or whimsically.
Their ferocious imitation is your reflection
You know but hide, chide, tide with an intention.

Emancipated Lier
Md Iqbal Hossen Feb 2018
She couldn't see my face for long.
I told her, I will return to your lap,
But, I was imprisoned in a cage of brutality.
Flesh, blood, chaos were my daily food.
I fecklessly took the taste of these.

There was no lights.
The moon never peeped through the cartain
The Sun would never rise
Only the hunger of flesh was existed.

There was no peace.
It was a day dream of optimists.
They waited for the new sun
And charished a dream of Icarus.

The air was polluted.
Anarchy, monarchy, and cruelty were floated in the air
The only perfume was the rotten flesh
And decomposed body was the mask.

The surroundings was full of music.
Nuclear weapons, guns were the instruments
Tanks, bullets, and bombs composed the melodious song,
Inhumanity was passionate audience.

Today I am a winged bird.
I fly in the boundless sky.
I sing with birds, and take fresh air
The sun, the moon, and the stars are in my feet.
I smell the blooming flower
And observe her inquisitive eyes.

I touch her but she doesn't feel.
I see her cheek burns with tears
Climbs down to my emancipated body.
I call her but she doesn't reply.
Someone holds my body and keeps me in a coffen.
She brusts into tears and scolds me a 'lier'.

Song of Chataract
Md Iqbal Hossen Feb 2018
Have you heard the sound of cataract?
It sings a song of beauty and
Examplifies the glory of  nature
How sweet her hidden songs are!

She invites birds, insects, and stroms
To play different sorts of music.
She orders to trees and grass to set
The green carpet on the soil.
Accepting to make a colourful  backgroud,
Butterflies, fireflies, and rainbow have come.
How delicate her heavely tone is!

I know,  you can't believe my words.
Go to her, listen to her song
Her song is as melodious as Ariel
Her background is as lucrative as Helen
Her stting of all is not less adorable than Aphrodite.
Your own sense will justify my words.

So Called Valentine
Md Iqbal Hossen Feb 2018
You are my existence, breath, and Oxyzen
I can't live without you a second.
Your beauty controls me from the day to dusk.
Your enchant mystrious look always keeps me in conundrum
It makes me busy to solve it out.
I don't have much time to waste in vein,
You appear to me with new mystery and new question.
How can I solve these in so called Valentines?
Someone may chain you within this day
But I don't dare to do that
Your evergreen  labyrinth puzzles me
Calles me to find the way of immortality.
You are the queen of riddle,
How can I hold you for a single day?

Catholicity of Winter
Md Iqbal Hossen Feb 2018
Spring! evergreen lustrous eyes
Kiss the carnal pleasure of the time.
Make a wink to those hypocrites
who legs behind your ancestor,
pulls her back into the graveyard.
Invite them to see your full-fledged youth.
Poke them to praise your eternal beauty.
Right them by derogationg their blind notions,
Your ancestor was not died.
Make them understand,  she was busy with Demeter
Tell them, she was preparing you to greet Persephone.
Aware them, strom comes after a profound silence.
Grow them up giving a sense
You are nothing but the ofsprings of your ancestor
Who suffers the pain to preseve you,
To protect you from cold and mist,
Dark and deep into a shell.
Tell them your youth is a blessings of her sacrifice.

Frozen Dance
Md Iqbal Hossen Feb 2018
The frozen road covers with blood.
I see thy feet are dancing on it.
You are twisting your body with clam eyes,
I cannot hold my eyes but see.
How delicate your steps are!
My indecisive oath lifts me up,
And clinches me to see your Danse Macabre.
Your indomitable splurge melts the ice,
Cleans the path to walk on it,
Invites the passer-by to go on that way.
Everyone goes, I don’t dare,
I just watched the dance of thee.

Collision of dream
Md Iqbal Hossen Feb 2018
Pixy snatches our lucrative dreams
Making a touch with a magical stick.
She gathers all these dream
And distributes among deprived dreamers.
Our dreams are their true story.

They work on their dreams, we do business.
We sell them in Pataldanga Lane,
Sometimes wipes it out into a dustbin.
We think, they do. we fear, they roar
Our imagination is their success.

We fail to fight to get back our right
while they die to fly from daedalous labyrinth.

Autumn
Md Iqbal Hossen Feb 2018
I have seen you in the blooms Sheuli,
I have seen you with the flowers of Bokul
I have seen you to sit with aurora
Beside casealpinia pulcherrima with Shafali’s sari’s lace.
I have seen you beside the lake and marsh
In the songs of peasantry and their golden paddies.
I have seen you in the buds of tree
Twinkling in the milky-way with the moon and the stars.
You are seen beside the water lily and with
Floating clouds in the sky.
You are seen with the host of catkins
Presenting yourself with immortal praise.
I have seen you in the last drop of rain
Flapping my arms and eyes with breeze.
You have seen in the buds of flowers
Mixing with Hasna Hena creates a heavenly smell.
You are seen with the daughter of firefly
Adoring this earth unconsciously with your beauty.
There are some Bengali flowers such sheuli, bokul, shafali, and hasna hena etc. It is autumn that glorifies differently in Bengali nature.

Conspiracy of Winter
Md Iqbal Hossen Feb 2018
I walk in the morning dew,
Fresh cold mist kisses on my feet.
I trembled after a while,
Fog surrounds me with her smoke
I see, a white chador is wraping up me
And invititing me to lay in her lap.

I surrender myself in her arms
She spreads her chest,
******* my head,  she deceives me.
I could realize her tricks
Her flamboyant affection convinces me
I am getting freeze with her touch.

She holds me firmly
And pulls back to the dark.
But I know, she cannot do it for long.
The spring is too close to revive Persephone.
Demeter is waiting for her.
She prepares the earth where I will gaze.
Chador= One kind of cloth that Bengali people use in winter.

Winged Time
Md Iqbal Hossen Jan 2018
Time is a winged bird
I can't see but wait
Aurora drops into cloud
Yeaos handless the Pandora.

Alexandria light house hides in dark
Light doesn't ignite.
Nitghtingale crashes her voice
Phoenix ***** her wings.

Dadealous is in conundrum
Hamlet cries in dilemma.
Queen Seba smiles on that event
Helen composes her drama.

The world is in Faustus hands
Monarchy is all around
Loathsome activities are in serum
Hector will never raise his sound.

Dark grasps, we live in it
The celestial lights still exist
Though these are dimed
Oneday, surely, the sun will rise.
There are ssome Mythical Characters.

I wish, I could
Md Iqbal Hossen Jan 2018
I wish I could see you in this moonlight night
Beside the lake and evergreen tea garden.
I would hold your hand to tell my unexpressed story.
I wish, I could see you with a blue saree
Like these fresh leaves as my blue angel
As I dreamt and captured in my heart.
I could fly with you in the Boccus chariot
And masmarise with the immortal tone of nightingale.
Urge to take a fly from this worldly pain.

Agony
Md Iqbal Hossen Jan 2018
You have gone far away
So silently breeze blows
And touches the horizon aimlessly.
You have gone far away from my hut
So, I don’t claim for anything anymore logically or illogically
Everything has stopped like a noiseless sea.
You have gone far away from my canvas
So, I impeded my drawings
Just perambulate in a corner of yard.
You have gone far away from my music
So, Bengals do not sing anymore.
You have gone far away from my garden
So, butterfly doesn’t fly with colourful wings
Flowers become dry and lymphatic.
Where at once was brimmed with ecstasy
Now it is a barren land.
You have gone far away
Who will hold my hand and bring me
In the yard of glory?
You have gone far away
I am crying all alone in the agony.

Fugitive
Md Iqbal Hossen Jan 2018
A moonlight night inlays with stars
Fireflies roam around me.
Kiss-curls of ocean rinse my feet
Nightingale sings in the deep
Forest covers the light of moon
Darkness is everywhere.

The time is too short to see
The charm of beauty is ever faded.
Nature lures me to catch her elegance.
While I go, it goes far beyond me
Formidable desire cries in vain.

— The End —
