That day turned out to be the most beautiful day for her to cherish...
Her pale face had finally got a reason to smile..
Swinging with amusement in her semi stitched rags..
She was utterly colored with the rainbow for a while..

The pocket she had, could feel the coins jingling..
*It was like the first shower of rain falling on the land of her heart..
Finally, She could answer her 'a week old' hunger..
Someone pitied her poor hands and gave her life a short lived start..
A normal person encounters every range of happiness everyday.
But can we ever estimate the degree of happiness of those unfortunate yet hopefully blessed people who encounter it rarely..Yes they do get to have it and they welcome it with every bit of heart they beat ..

strung out on
drunk stung-drumming under this skin
isn't mine when you touch it
fight the belting, beg again
memorized muscle and music
trying and failing
melting and falling
repeat the crawling song;
confused teeth, knees
leaving feet, forgetful hand-smothered-feelings \ religious breathing, heart-beat bleeding, gentle breeze please lift my ribs with your pleases after my name leaves your gut after my nails peel you off, an ode to pretending, for stopping;
a better use of force
a better Wednesday waiting
sistering indifference and swelling on sheets never made for pigments preferring the latter again, and I
I haven't felt this way since my leaves fell
since the water settled under my belt
before & after lonely
refer me to laughter when I cannot breathe  & cry about how it'll never work

*Springtime sings of wondrous things
Of warmer days and robin’s wings
Of daffodils and playground swings
Of sunny morning wanderings
Of fishing poles and wedding rings
Of family picnic gatherings
Of arbors blooming jasmine clings
Of sweetly scented offerings
Of firefly meanderings
Of stardust moonlit ponderings
Of all the happiness it brings
Yes springtime sings of wondrous things
Dumb?
