Galatheia Mar 2019
All I ask for is one day
Just one day
One day to hear your voice again
Reconnect to my favorite sound
One day to feel your arms around me
And put mine around you
One day to hold my forehead against yours
To tell you for a final time
How you are my life, my light and my salvation
There was a time, where this one day could have been every day
I should have used every single one of those days better
Now that all my chances to make use of our given time are gone
The only thing I can hope for is that one day
The day when we will finally meet again

Neither turbulent waters nor mighty storms could move the lone rock
Standing still as time wasted away his surroundings
The rock wondered what it would be like to be moved
But seeing how even the most forceful of streams left him unshaken
He had given up hope
Until a delicate mountain river started spurting right next to him
Its refreshing cold only caressing his side
With never ending gentleness and unwavering determination
Not even intending to disturb him
Yet the rock discovered, that even he could be moved

We met when leaves were twirling in the autumn winds.
Our worlds collided when they touched the ground.
Winter followed and took away all warmth.
Heavy snowfall covered up dying leaves from a better time
As we suffocated under the weight of our sins.
However, the sun of spring has melted the ice
And newly running rivers will wash away our sorrows.
