I am again a night owl
arms stretched wide to loosen
my shoulders  as I make my way across
the bustling square with black flip flops flopping
now if only I could traverse as silently as the owl, unnoticed throughout the night
Observing
1.why
The breathe we exhale gives route to the carbon  that travels from atmosphere to organisms circling the earth

your breath is the breathe of the massive red pine tree next to you

You inhale while the mindeulle around you take from the earth’s soil what was laid to rest and exhale

there are dandelions all over the world that slight death just by breathing out

2. The embrace
The way in which everything touches
everything make me think that we breathe together across time

your breath is the breath of your mother and your mother’s mother

The way that everything touches everything makes me think that I am already holding you

(each breath slighting time)
at entrance of a forest on a hill watching
the great pine trees grow older over
your head; there the birds take flight in the distance

and my eyes burst into rivers, converging at a deep valley shaped by the slow
passing of the years
The best things are priceless their weight in gold has been paid for by life and they enter into this realm as unstoppable commands of life
I can
always feel you
in the center of my chest

    I can feel your longing
and I can feel your sorrow
as-well as your love and joy

Don’t you know— I ask you to be well
because I can sense you
less than hour ago you were here
at center of my costal
If I can practice,
sitting here, being
in transit on a vehicle
and feeling the sun simmer
me behind the glass tucking
my hair slowly
behind my ear,Touching
cold glass until
it becomes a word: animate
now worldly and shared
If I can focus on the scent of flowers
and count my breaths
I am sure that when I hold
your hand, I will feel it’s warmth

so calmly,  I practice
for I love myself
and I love you
