Crevice of his lips
I stared into the deepness of his eyes
While he played his guitar,
I memorized every inch of his face.
Even as my eyes grew sore,
I battled the brightness of the phone,
To engulf him in every frame of my mind.
As the darkness of the night grew denser and denser,
I fell within every crevice of his lips.

The light speaks
I see something.
Brighter than me.
Is that her?
Is she the one who was engulfed by darkness?
I peek out to glance at her.
Her eyes squinted as she met me after a long time.
I leveled my brightness to comfort her.
Her smile fell upon me like a magic spell.
She absorbed me in the rim of her shadows.
She promised to hold me tight in all the darkest hours.
I promised to follow her for the rest of her life.

The soul speaks
I fly.
Revealing the unbearable lightness of being.
I flutter.
At the joy of embracing your fragrance.
I fall.
Into frills of flamed thoughts glistening your shadows as you walk away.
I flee.
Together with the endless memories beholding "Us".
I fear.

The heart speaks
I beat rhythmless.
Aimlessly wandering in the dark shell of loneliness.
Machining through my days.
Hopping on and off in every corner.
Searching my path under the lightless sky.
Until one day.
I sense you.
Rhythming to my rhythmless beat.
You tread on my pathless ruins,
excavating the deepest fears I treasure for long,
You dust away their impurity,
And show me the beauty hidden beneath it.
I tremble to steady up.
You held me tight.
I am reluctant to move.
You carry me up in the air.
I skip a beat.
You invent a rhythm for us to beat together as one
and freeze together endlessly.

The hand speaks
Sun rises to peek through our window,
to remind us of the day ahead.
We didn't part.
Clock ticks its hands without a break,
to tickle us from bed.
We didn't part.
Sweat appear through the closed spaces,
to separate the intertwined “us”.
We didn't part.
Cold breeze outrage through the window,
to shake us apart.
We didn't part
The trees outside shake their head in constant motion,
to grab our attention.
We didn't part.
The sparrow in the window sill whistle at us,
to invite us to her melody.
We didn't part.
Moon dangles beneath the sky,
to reiterate the end of the day.
We didn't part.
They withdraw their effort to part us! They know we are inseparable!

This too shall pass
The wind howls on my face,
With an atrocious anger,
As I swept past the rigorous terrain,
Into the blankness of the night,
That swiftly blanket it's black.
Off you go sleep,
For you too an unknown passenger,
In search of the quietness,
That soothe every quiver,
In the road of the past,
As dawn awaits with newer beginnings
And this too shall pass!
