I have nothing to blame but myself,
For I can no longer think straight,
My life seems motivation less,
Surrounded by negativity,
I have no other way to explain it despite feeling "grey"
My world used to be filled with pretty colors to attract the eye,
Everything is now... Grey,

Left alone in this so called reality,
We supposedly define humanity,
But have the audacity to associate this with morality,
The seclusion,
The judgement,
This world has world has partitioned,
For I feel secluded,
Unfortunately, we have demolished our own world,
beneath our own feet,
infront of own eyes.
Leaving ourselves and everyone whom surround us, constantly worried and ashamed of what we have yet to create.

Oh, the anticipation

Don't tell me "people change"
Don't tell that you're different,
You've always acted strange
You became so inconsistent.

You left my world destroyed,
My broken pieces not recovered,
Your lies have taught me,
You're nothing like the others.
Despondent you left me,
With the words you left unspoken,
For the words now metaphorically resemble a knife,
That blade cut me deep when you walked out of my life,
Both of us now have to face your consequences,
That's ******* both the of us,
but I've decided to let go,
It ought to be for the best,
But we will not quite ever know.

Your choices will define you,
For they make you who you are,
And I'm not prepared to sit there and let you tear my world apart.

One may walk away but it doesn't prevent them from looking back,
For I am the one who has learnt to move on,
But needless say every song reminds me of you,
Every sleepless night is spent thinking about you,
Every morning I wake up to the thought of you,
Which makes me think,
We were encouraging an inevitable downward spiral in an attempt to hold on to the little we had left,
Maybe we were too attached, trapped in one another's world.
There's no place like home,
I suppose that's where we went,
Only we went a different route, you took me to the stars and I showed you the moon, you showed me happiness and I gave you my trust.
But for trust consists of an "us",
And quite frankly,
Those days are over.
