Midnight Thoughts
Eve Nov 2018
Remember that time you thought life was going well?
As if things would actually work out?
You know things are never meant to be that way.
Easy right?
You didn't have to say it.
True. It's your own **** fault though.
Everything is.
Isn't it?
If only my mind wasn't out to get me.
It never was.
How would you know?
I'm addicted to self sabotage.
Funny the way things work.
Makes you think there's something greater.
Those thoughts are just made up for fairy tales.
The bitter taste of agony is easy to get used to.
At the end of the day we're all a bit dead inside.
How could someone not be?
I doubt there's an answer to that.
There's even effort in breathing.
You can't just be swallowed in self loathing and-
Give up.
Can't you?
You can't.
I could.
Could you?
I doubt it.
It's sad to see people that do.
Is it?
I don't really know to be honest.
It's such a normalcy.

Mind is Blank
Eve Nov 2018
Erased.
A memories misplaced.
Can you feel anymore?
Did you look that way before?
Looking down into the dirt.
Wiping the dust onto your shirt.
Remember the last moment?
Did you finish your atonement?
Falling apart at the seams.
The story etched into your dreams.
With mental state about to burst.
Unsure of who will break down first.
All breathing in solemn faced.
Swallowing that bitter taste.
There is no one you can truly save.
Lay down your rose upon the grave.

One with the Ground
Eve Dec 2018
Beautifully broken shaken reality
Seduced by asphyxiation
Embrace the sinking feeling
Comforting pain in the chest
Savor erratic heart beating
Breathe a labored breath
Chills yet sweating
Succumb to convulsions
Fall for the abyss

Voices
Eve Nov 2018
You're nothing but a birch in the woods.
Standing against the storm.
Some of your friends will fall.
Some will fly away.
Their hearts flighty as a bird.
Can you stand?
Will you make it?
If you're too stubborn you'll snap.
The wind beckons you.
Would you follow anyone to their death?
The choice is yours.
Or is it?
Only time will tell.
How many days will you get?
