It's when you're calm-
No internal flurry
No angst, or worry
No freak out, need to speak out
Your fears
Hidden away
So deep down, won't find them today
Or tomorrow or the next day
Just a niggling, worm wiggling
In the back of your brain
You think you're insane
For a moment
A spasm, fall into a chasm
And then startle awake
Once again calm, defused the bomb
In your brain, that made you insane
In that moment
Gone with the wind, yet buried within
Not really gone
Sometimes people ask me if I'm nervous about various events going on in my life. I never know what to answer. This is why.
