She’s the shoulder for everyone to lean on
But god forbid she’d be the one leaning
Poet Apr 2
Do you ever wonder what it would feel like to fall in love?
Would it consume you?
Let a person become your whole world?
Become your lungs?
Let it be their heart beating in your chest and in theirs yours?
Or would it feel dull?
Like metal rusting and losing its shine?
Would it be your everything for a week then your reality for forever?
The truth is…
I want to fall in love
But what if it’s not my everything?
What?
If ?
I’m ?
Not?
THEIR?
Everything?

Stupid,
stupid,
stupid
love,
the
reason
our
world
is
tilted
but
also
the
reason
the
world
is
still
right.
We go crazy for love, but that’s why it’s so beautiful. It’s taken me awhile but I truly understand now, love is truly everywhere, even in the way we simply care.

Drink some water
Eat something
Write a poem
Take a walk
Just sit there and exist for a moment

It’s okay
Nothing really matters anyway
Take care of yourself! Kind of ironic coming from someone who’s up at 12:30 writing poetry, not drinking, and not doing homework or anything else I should be. Meh :/

When they cry
I provide comfort

When they scream
I tell them they have the right

But they don’t notice it in me
For my tears flood my heart
And my screams are silent

I have some hard battles
I just keep them inside and quiet
