I met him yesterday
Yesterday at the Cafe
Cooped up in the corner
Enchanted by the book
His eyes the darkest shade of brown
His curly hair shining against the sunlight
His face, a pure emotion of curiosity
His lips plumped in delight
He was reading a fantasy novel
The One I was reading too
There was a strange feeling in my heart
It was something utterly new
I gathered up the courage and approached him
He still mesmerized in the book
Didn't even acknowledge my presence
So I tapped on the table for him to look
There he was
Devastatingly cute
His eyes soft and kind
Surprised when his gaze fell on my book
We both felt that spark
Of awe and surprise
Like we both never expected
To Meet someone alike
We both exchanged various emotions
Without even uttering a word
It was then I realized
That he is the one
We talked for hours
Laughing and giggling
I have never felt this much ease
It was like a poet writing a poetry
Is was dusk
Sun finally binding it's farewell
Kissing the clouds in the shade of pink
Birds flying towards it like bounded by a spell
His face too covered by the pink
His face glowing and his eyes...
His soft eyes now like magic
It felt like fire caressing the ice
We both now silent
I mesmerized in his eyes
Our hands touching
My heartbeat, a roller-coaster ride
Then..
We kissed
His lips so soft
Felt like my heart skipped a beat
His touch was gentle
His kiss so tender
His hands stroking my hair
My sould just surrendered
My lips smiling like never before
Everyone else slowly disappeared
Like it was just me and him in this world
My lip gloss now smeared
The cold breeze brushed our cheeks
The darkness now settled around us
His hands still warn
My face showing a darkest shade of blush
Sadness suddenly filled my heart
I realized how late it was
I had to say goodbye
Even though my heart yelled not to
It all happend yesterday
But I wanted to meet him again
So there I was standing again in the Cafe
Him again in the corner smiling
My love story finally began
