AMERICAN LOVER
Hassan Idris May 2020
(Happy mother's day)

Dear American lover,
I know I don't have
the voice like Micheal
Jackson, but I surrender to
the comeliness of your voice.

Beloved white skinned
lover,let the purity of your
love pass through my soul
and let me feel its greatness.

They saw wrinkles on your
skin, but I saw lots of pretty
dimples and immense beauty.

They said you're aged and
fade-out, but I said my eyes
saw agility and maturity.

Dear American lover, I know I
have no golden wealths like
Bill Gates, but I have fiona
and flora of love in my heart
to give to you.

Give me your trust and  I
shall install it on my young
agiled and poetic heart.

Dear American lover, let us
take a love flight to the United
States; Maryland where your
umbilical cord slid away from.

Come and take me away to
your heart where I shall dwell
in there forever.
This poem is dedicated to all our mothers in this world.  I celebrate with you all a happy mother's day.

IF DEATH
Hassan Idris May 2020
If it was easy,
I would have taken a
battle with her who ends
life.

I would have fought her
with my pen even though I
knew my ribcage is dead, I
would be defeated.

I would have danced and
welcomed her; hug her and
would have played to her my
musical lyrics of love.

I would have  taken a walk
with her to the land of no
return where she came from...

I would have told her the
story of a wordsmith who
adores death, yearns for her to
touch his skin and kiss his soul.

I would have told her of
the story of  he who belch
his dirges of love in his words.

I would have told her of
the dirges of a defeated
sailor who sailed through the
day and night to kiss her
that ends life.

THE SAILOR
Hassan Idris May 2020
I want my heart to sit
on the boat of love,
Sail my sorrow away across
the sea of joy.

Where love shall be my
compass and the comeliness
of the sea shall be my paddler.

Where I shall whisper love
unto the ears of all the birds
across the sea.

I want to sail my heart on the
oceans of love, and let her
kiss the fishes beneath the sea.

I want to sail my heart and
soul  across to the calm nature
of the sea and inhale the air
of Ramadan.

WORLD POETRY DAY
Hassan Idris Mar 2020
Even though my pen is broken,
My heart is still in love with her,
And my body is itching to hold her,
Let me take her closer and closer.

I want her to dominate my blood stream,
I'm hers and she's mine.

I want her to shape my heart like she has shaped the minds of billions.

I want to tell the world, I find joy in her world,
My darling...
My body masseuse is her,
And my soul's cleanser is her.
The love of poetry lies deep in our hearts.  Poetry is life and life is poetry.  I say happy world poetry day to all!

MY PEN
Hassan Idris Mar 2020
Anytime I raise my pen to write,
my excerpt is a sketch of Sulty,
and those nostalgic memories.

Anytime I raise my pen to write,
I sketch ravishing images of her,
my nightingale.

Anytime I take my pen to write,
I carve no shenanigan images
of her, but of the comeliness
of her love twitching  my
blood stream.

Anytime I raise my pen to write,
my ink is full with the gravity of her
love, ready is my pen to write of the
bonny of her beauty.
This poem describes the beauty of love and the power of power of love
