It’s weird to think that one moment you were here
And the next your not
I could always count on the fact that you were alive
Somewhere out there in the world
Even if I rarely saw you
And now you’re not
And I’m stretching any happiness that I have
To last longer than a few seconds
So there won’t be a lot of worry
But it’s getting harder
And my smile and laughter
Are getting thinner
I just want to be happy
But now I know that you’re not on this earth
So that’s pretty impossible.
My great grandma just died yesterday. I feel proud of her though, because she turned 100 about half a month ago. I just miss her.
