Fake FeelingsI know how it feels... To have someone fake a feeling to get what they want, while you wear your heart on your sleeve. The crushing pressure in your chest finding out you meant nothing to someone you were in love with... why did it have to happen? What did we do to deserve this awful stinging pain? Used and tossed aside, like it never even happened. But the memories stay with us; the scars haunt us every day… The pain will never really go away, will it? Knowing that alone makes me want to give it all up. The fear of letting yourself be vulnerable to something like that again has started to overtake me. At times, it has stopped my progress. But I… we should not let the pain and fear consume us. We should take the darkness and use it; a lesson learned. We can allow ourselves to take down some of our defenses and be vulnerable. It might take you a while to realize this, but I promise, I will help you. I know you can get through this nightmare.

Lost?No inspiration. No words to be said. The heart has no idea where it’s going. These feelings are starting to stray off the path, finding new meaning in old places. Everything seems shattered when so much is perfectly clear. Is it done? Is this only a far off memory, or a recent dream? / Nothingness lies ahead; empty shadows with only you as the population. This stranger, he is so familiar. Change can be so sudden, so fast, that you don’t even recognize yourself anymore. How did this happen, when did it fall apart? / But… even in this darkness, this lonely abyss, a heart is heard beating louder and faster. There is no fear, there is only bravery. The shadow is mine, not the other way around. No light at all, but these eyes can still see.

That Look in Your EyesIs there any way for me to tell you, tell you everything? Nothing I say could ever be enough to change your mind it would seem. Please don’t go, I need you here with me, my best friend, my inspiration. Even if we never become more… as long as you’re by my side then everything is alright. Keep a smile, so pretty, like the night sky filled with stars all around you. Every moment together makes it harder to breath, gasping for air, when I look into your eyes. / Just stay… So I can tell you how much you mean to me, how beautiful you really are. How if our lips could just meet once, my life would be complete…
