every land crumbling falling sudden silence dark skin shivering sun eyes lost mountains hearth lightning strikes rising smoke ash leaking shack filling sight coughs echo mountain breath traps warmth holding still ink drop dry paper turned sunrise wind gust projecting vicious panther absence hand frozen hugged legs awaiting buzz salvation always behind hands covering humans generate own heat placed titans fled fast unfed wandering rivers hidden heaven lay rest weakening protected friend foe while unseen mouths satiate soaked bone rain hammers erasing mark leaving path hope treeline why check weather august searing turns cool sweat breeze shutting emptied fields wheat among cicadas theres heartbeat pulling sky desolate farm view lush place bare feet buried white freezing keep summer snow
