Words flow like waterfalls and sometimes trickle
They call out to you at the strangest times and laugh behind your back when the creativity sparks at an inopportune time
Need I identify it, you know exactly where I am coming from
No matter your genre, the muses have a time and place and then again
They have a great time all at once or nothing at all
Being a writer isn't always understood and then a reader comments about what you wrote here or anywhere
You made them think, cry, laugh or shake their heads in wonder
It is a gift you possess
Writing in general is a treasure so keep that close to your heart the next time the paper laughs back when you don't have words to fill it up or the computer freezes

One door shuts and another opens
Many goodbyes and an unexpected Hello comes out of no where in particular
You were not looking and then you got found
Robins come out of nowhere at your feet
Eagles never usually seen fly over head to greet you and show you the way
After you have dealt with or jumped a hurdle
Perhaps you will be walking towards the sun

It's raining.
It's boring.
Yet the Blue Jay with their hawk-like- like sound
Swooped down from a high branch to take a freshly roasted shelled nut
Thirty seconds later another appeared and grabbed another nut.
Their crests and colors of blue, white, and black were visible in the rain.
Not a bad way to walk on a Holy day where fasting and no driving happen once a year
Before you utter a sound the computer and other modern-day conveniences are essential to my well-being such as walking
So thanks Blue Jays for making this Yom Kippur easier

Reach to places you have never known
Like asteroids trying to find a place in the galaxy
Many are so lost and just don’t belong

When we awaken
This reality show is defunct
Cancelled
The victims Americans not born with a silver spoon
Those who earned everything by working hard
Some who were not born here
Immigrants just like our grandparents and Great grandparents
Congress will be bi-partisan
Archie Bunker will be remembered as a beloved character
Not those who refuse to understand that yesterday is a memory and tomorrow matters
Today is to be enjoyed and put into prospective
Cherish and respect human beings despite our differences
There will always be bad dreams but the nightmare should never have been elected in the first place
