Love
Present the description
Without soulful glance and regretful sigh
Vocalize its definitions from within and without the heart
As vast as turquoise boundless skies.

It is an integrated palette of deep desire in warm soft dreams
Often no more than a contrived replica from a lover’s breath
It is the written of in fading ink by the long dead poets
The portrayal of honorable words falling from trusted lips

Neglectful to the seed of betrayal
The despair of a shriveling heart
From the whole to the dark eclipse

Look deep into the transparent windows
Beware for the eyes tell all
Of love and hate
The frozen span of a bleak wasteland
The veins coursing with inextinguishable fire
It is the integrated palette of soft warm dreams and deep desire

In the Land of Dreams
Where no desolation reigns
The heart is light and gay
Absent the misery of loves pain

The soul is unburdened and free
To tip toe giddily among the stars
Or plunge wildly into green salty seas

In the land of dreams
There is no echo
Of suffering human cries
The spirit is cleansed forever of its grief
Death’s hand close no eyes
In the land of dreams

Why poets are overcome by the need
To scatter words across the universe
Many wind-blown seeds.

To splash their sadness on paper
Paint black their rage,
A sea of raw emotion
Where melancholy rules as queen

I often wonder
If they ever desire to escape
From the fantasy worlds
Sometimes willingly created.

Relaying their loves, dreams, and trysts,
Oblivious to the reality
That in truth they don't exist
They are after all only a projection of light in the dark
  Simple words of the poet.
The artist of thought.

Secure that of all in the world
Yours was the shoulder I could lean on
In your safe arms I could rest
When life became too overwhelming
Put my strength to the test

I once loved you
Thought myself under tender protection
Plotting carefully unknown to me
You dealt me rejection
For a time  I was alone and frightened

Of this fact you were quite aware
Otherwise you would not have dared
To treat me so cruelly
For in truth
You are a coward

I once loved you
More than the moon and sun
Until the lies became truth
It all was undone
The betrayal showed its head

So your life rightly shall be
The same hell you intended for me
I ask myself how could it be
I once loved you

Pausing for a reaction
A hateful acknowledgement of my actions
Jangling your nerves
For each and every infraction

I push the buttons
To a dangerous ledge
Forcing you closer and closer
To the cliff's edge
Happily for filling to my death a pledge

I push the buttons
Comes a loving embrace
Then retrieve from my memory
Thoughts better erased
The time in my life
Sequence of events
They gave way to my now favorite pastime

I push the buttons
A puppet helpless you will dance
Never again allowed the chance
To have a life without the shadow of a cloud

Forever
Prodding and poking
I shall never cease
The humming of my plastic keys
Enlightening those
Who cannot believe
What lies on the other side
There will be no peace
My appetite  for revenge will never be filled
So I push the buttons

I remove the veil that covers my mind
My retreat will not be heard
To the outside in the realm of society
I shall never utter another word
With complete knowledge of consequence and cost
I close the so called conscience world off

Dreaming in my own dimension
As I delightfully drift through the air
Throughout the universe
A sparkling starlight night
My imagination on wings of flight

Deeds of brave knights
Fair damsels
Invading aliens and wizard kings
Witches spirits and sprites
Breaking delicate fairy rings

This is the world I have created for myself
The one of magic troll and elf
Of all these things
In my script I will tell
This is now my reality
I removed the veil

and cross my heart
When the ghosts of the past appear
and the dark nightmares start
There is no respite to be found
Pity finds no escape
As I am completely surrounded
By the shadows of fate.

So claw the dark demons;
Sharp nails,
Out of my suffering mind.
Forced now to surface
Once held captive in time

So I say my prayers
Listening to tragic sighs
Prepare for the onslaught
Close my eyes

That frightens you away
Or the words bleeding down my face
That love bound cannot say

The crying in my soul
Only goodness hear
The beating of my heart
Crimson flames
Forcing you oh so near

The darkness in my soul
Birthed from the fountain of sadness
I kneel and drink with little regret
Willingly
From the puddle of madness

Is it the darkness in my soul
That frightens you away
Or deaths reflection in my eyes
The words you cannot say

In grounds coldness and depth
Wrapped in promises never kept
The skies coal black
Faded to gray
In a wooden coffin
My body forever lay

Resting on white satin
Loves pitiful demise
Affections coy smile
Closed my eyes

Crimson tapestry of deceit
Hearts loss of faith
Destroyed the soul
In passions fiery wake

I sleep the sleep
My quiet abode
The silent deep
Beside my soft grave
The gathering mourners weep

Growing ever bolder
While Insanity her sister
Places a cool hand
Upon your frail shoulder

Despair
The lady in waiting
For that which is and shall remain
The ruler of all
As sadness fell in stormy gray waves
When the heart pain called

Oh how deep the depth of the dagger
Endless the loss of love go
A secret torture of those caressed by passion
The coursing of desires flow

Is madness creeping round your mind
Growing ever bolder
While Insanity her sister
Places a cool hand
Upon your trembling  shoulder

The cutis anserina raise cold upon your arm
The brain dispatches a foretelling chilling alarm
It is panic that has you in its grasp
I daresay your destiny
Though somewhat delayed come at last

You focus your frightened gaze rapidly from left to right
Wishing the sun break the dawn and begone this haunted night
Your inner voice speaks to you
Turn round if you dare
The hair slowly rises on your neck
The cautious self tells you to beware

Ring covered fingers icy run up your spine
Struggling to remain conscious
Your heart is pounding
Counting breaths you mark the time

Drenched in sweat you stumble headlong into the dark
Unaware an actor on the stage merely playing a part
Flee as far as you wish and swiftly as you can
There is no eluding the touch of fears hand

It is panic that has you in its grasp
The arms of fate
Clutch you to her stone breast and hold you fast
They call your name
You must bow to the gods
And breathe your last

Silent
On cursed feathered wings
From the hollows of the earth
Its arrival announced
By the ****** of the dark lord
How their voices ring
Songs of pain and tortured screams
The sharps and flats of insanity
Heard only by those
Soon to be companions
Destined to dwell
In the fiery depths of hell

It will come
Smile upon face
Demand you follow
Skeletal hand point the way
It is your destiny
You must obey
Down deaths burning hall
The blood barbed maze of sin
It will come

That places me above
All others in their life
No matter the circumstances
Abode
Or strife

A promise
Never to hurt me
Or cruelly desert me
A bond
Lovers soft words
Forever
I will be the sunrise
In adoring loving eyes

I want a love
That will kiss my lips
Firmly demand
Insist
I will only belong to them

I want a love
That will treat my heart tender
Always remember
I would be loyal until my death
To them only
Never leave me sick and lonely

I want a love
That will not degrade me
Force me to relinquish
That what I hold most dear
Can you tell me
Does this exist

I want a love

Just to see what it was like
The smell of brimstone and smoke
Torture and mayhem
Burning heads impaled upon flaming spikes

I shook hands with the evil one
Of course, horned and dressed in red
Welcome friend mi casa es su casa
But absolutely no communing with the dead

I said I was just looking around
Put to rest any fears
With my good and pure lily white life
I shall never end up here

Many years later
Staring down at my coffin
At my funeral where was shed many tears
It seemed only seconds had passed
****
And there I was
Back in hell again

I looked around at the fires
And asked Satan fearfully
Tell me Beelzebub
What am I doing here?
Your name is on my parchment silly fool
And I have waited many years

Or again be felled by a madman's blow
I will harden my heart
Set my love apart
Announcing this with a vengenance
So all will know

I will never let my weakness show
Or live my life
In submission dying slow
Tethering my fears
Drying violence's tears
I control my emotions
As karma's seeds are sown
I must never let my weakness show

Love the sentiment of fools I concede
By betrayal it was banished from my breast
It is absent from my soul
Replaced by a cool dissecting glance
One of acknowledgement
But offered only by chance
I cannot love

Barely acknowledging affection
More likely my response to approach
Rejection
And upon deep penetrative reflection
'I have no desire to be worshiped or admired from near or afar
As they say my soul lit afire in exhilaration
With a flame that will never be quenched
To grasp for a star that is beyond my reach
An unending yearning that will never cease
A spirit that will find no peace
I will not love

Swearing my oath to he who is good above
And to he who skulks below
For to them it is already known
I will not love

For all those poor souls suffering
Those victims of love dying slow
Turn the dial and tune it to my channel
Karma 361 FM
Dead Heart Radio

I play songs that soothe you
Comfort and heal your troubled mind
And in words and lyrics move you
Fear not for those that abused you
Fate awaits them with a composition of her own

Present to your nemesis
A winning smile and my unique music
Convince them to listen
Dissect the haunting notes and muse them

Soon they will become the ones dying slow

Blue skies retreating began to fall
The appointment she must keep
Will cause deceitful eyes to weep
For this is just the beginning of it all

So now even the stars become lightless
Black and dying
Evil deeds sing their songs smiling
They are calling your name
The cost of participation in the game
It was your choice and yours alone to risk it all
Karma sits tapping her feet
Waiting in the hall

For your poor gentle heart will break
Prayers are to no avail or antidote
As love, your soul without mercy will take

Let not love to be your master
For it is to sacrifice without question or demand
Shun its malignant invitation
Decline the touch of its sinister hands

Let not love to be your master
Or your world never again will you find
All-consuming
In reality, existing no more
A lost spirit left wandering throughout time

Its an insane wild ride
Leaping off dark churning thunder clouds
Into cool aqua oceans
Floating in with the salty littered tide

Plunging from steep mountains
Tall and jagged
Falling to below
Helpless
Into the valley's of shiny razor covered pain

Emerging ever stronger
More determined
With confidence
Close your eyes and smile
Foolishly jump again

Ripples of cries in the darkness
In the long sighing night
No earthly bound beings hear
Fear and disappointment ever present
Camouflaged discreetly
Tucked away in your crisp white sleeve

Energy moving through your body
The thrill of winds from head to toe
Satisfied with all around you
Wanting nothing the wide universe has to offer
Happiness perhaps some would say

Its an insane wild ride
Life
Fine unpredictable lady
Has many unknown sides
Leaping off dark churning thunder clouds
Diving into clear ice blue oceans
Floating in with the salty littered tide

Liquid voices
Smiling faces
Take a bow
Off to destined places

Each one vies
For the most desired seat
An honor of sin
For which they gladly compete

The better the chair
Higher the worth
The larger the house
So richer the hearth

Liquid voices
Evil choices
Delighted with his subjects
The devil rejoices

I perceive no beauty
In the rising of the sun
No peace in caressing sweet breezes
Being only one

The colors of my world
Simply described
Are muted black and gray
Upon my weak frail shoulders
The mantle of loneliness lay

My ears no longer recognize
Lovely odd melodies
Of singing evening birds
Silent
Motionless
I utter not a word

The  twisting worn paths I travel
All eventually seem to be the same
There are no longer any blue skies
Only cold dark daggers of rain

She spends her time scribbling away
Without stopping
Obsessed
Night and day
In a room with walls of books
People  nod and  say
With an odd look on their faces
You know
She is loony as a tune

Where does she find all these words
And why
What becomes of them
When she loosens them to fly
Who knows where they will land

Topics and memories
People care not to remember
As they look away and try to forget
While she paints their life with her pen
Much to their protests and chagrin
In a small room she writes
As they whisper in retaliation
She is loony as a tune

True perhaps lacking in finesse
Laughing at solemn occasions
When she should be crying
One day the picture of health
The next day dying
All done with the pen
Telling the truth or lying
Actress or poet
Who knows for certain
With a person they say
Is loony as a tune

Walking around in clothes
No one else dare
Aghast
People stop and stare
Unkempt wild wind blown hair
Dancing round under a full moon
In the sweet night air
Perhaps I am loony as a tune

Treacherous word
My life has been tainted by this curse
Its cohorts of chaos
Caring, promises. affection.
Silk upon tender lips
A sweet confection

Recognition of this emotion
I steadfastly decline and deny
The heavy burden of memories
Poison of time
Love
I reject it as any intelligent mind would
Revile it as some pray they could
It is to be trapped in a web of sadness
No visible means of escape or hope

So banned it remains
My deepest wish forever lost
Un movable as a heavy stone
I desire a heart of ice
Reclusiveness is my fate
The terrible cost
The price

Love
Once upon a time
It rendered me weak
Wary
I crave not its company
I choose to be
Singular
Alone
Rather than vunerable
Avoiding the pain of attachment
The sickly sweetness of affection
The irritation of adoration

Love
Once upon a time
Blinded were my eyes
I silenced my cries
Covered the bruises
So none would know
I submitted to the blows
Red stripes filled my craving for attention
For my emotions ran deep

Love
Once upon a time
I became who I am now
Open were my eyes to that which I could not see
To hatred hidden behind loves face
Never again will I allow this to be
I choose to be solitary
Reclusive
I force love to vacate my heart
I am no longer weak

Love once upon a time

In the hours of cold morning mist
Come schizophrenia and creativity's loving tryst
Their offspring
Irrational thoughts of course insist
Madness is preferable to reality
Often desired and endlessly pursued

Come forth
The golden hours of light
The nebulous darkness
Cowers with weakness and fright
Irrational thoughts laughing insist
After much consideration
Madness is preferable to reality

But the night must have its say
Its arrival announced by the falling of the day
Naughty children
Irrational thoughts unyielding insist
Madness is preferable to reality

With a ...
Everything keeps on going.
Out jumps { },
Nothing is showing.

So natural numbers are the same as counting
What other kinds are there?
Tell us quickly please
The tension is mounting

Did you say members or elements?
Are there many?
What a find.
Infinite or finite sets,
Numbers in a line

Taking the time,
Oh woeful occasion.
The struggle of learning
Mathematical expressions.

Among the Gorgons that counted three
Touched by comeliness being mortal only she
Beauty that in awe of the universe bowed down
Her glorious sumptuous hair a glowing grace
More exquisite than Aphrodite’s star-studded crown

Pursued and seduced by Poseidon was fair Medusa
The God of the jade seas and cerulean oceans deep
In the sacred temple of Athena
His unrelenting passion for her was consecrated
And evermore in her submission would she weep

Their love spill upon white sacred stone floors
Insulted and in her anger
Athena cursed Medusa to times end and in the word’s, cruelty seep
A serpent's tongue and venomous black eyes replaced the orbs of blue
But behind the monster’s mask
A rare beauty never more wakened would sleep

Writhing snakes replaced the queenly vision of her hair
Hideous, grotesque an unhuman crone
A horrifying sight to be shunned
If to look upon her any fool dare
Her darting eyes turn all to stone

The ill-fated union of Medusa and Poseidon yielded two children,
Chrysaor and Pegasus
Who sprung from her neck upon death
When with but a stroke of cunning Perseus shining blade
Her head severed from her body fell to the floor
To be presented to Athena in homage and honor as a gift.

Floundering
Defeated
Upon me the mark of fate
God forgive me for being weak
I cannot bear the weight

Wishing to avoid the battle
To fight the brave fight
Have mercy release my soul
Allow me to seek the light

Do not be hurt or angry
Should no words fall from my lip’s
Leaving my reasons unsaid
Deciding life is too much of a struggle
I chose my coffin instead

Thoughts of malice play in my mind
Between my vindictive tongue and damning rhyme
Disturbing images of death
Pass before my narrowed eyes

My face hides a smile
Woven with cruel words
Brazen and beguile
The inviting lips now cold with betrayal
Absent from an empty cavity
The heart
Tread upon too long to survive

My face hides smile
Too frightening and terrible to reveal
Vessel of hate
Oh malevolent spirit
'That sits at the feet
Of loves loss and ills

My face hides a smile
That cannot be seen
For that what once was
For that what soon will be
My face hides a smile

Is becoming cold
My mind no longer desiring life
Dying
Grows old
Distant north winds with their power blow
Freezing gales of turmoil
Screaming gusts of pain

The throbbing ***** now beats slow
Recognizing the words of love no more
The falseness of a smile
Tainted with guile and deceit
The death of a gentle soul
Hard and frozen
My dead heart no longer beats

Reclining on the cold black leather couch
Preparing my contrived viewpoints of what’s life's about
My weaknesses, objectives, dislikes, perspectives, and fears
And to the mix for drama's sake
I will add a few false tears

His eyes were full of gray cold dissection
Bemused expression and advice
I accepted without any objections or argument
His professional and profound perspective of my life

When he referred to his life in the past tense
I began to wonder in retrospection
If had lost truly my senses
Eyes changing into ice, fixed and dilated
I listened closely with a novice ear
His worth seriously I debated

He then expressed his fondness
For sizzling Sweetbreads and Farber beans
While telling me in great detail of one client, in particular
A depressive transvestite
And of his long abstract dreams

As he referred to himself as personality number six
Suddenly his steel eyes began to shine and spin
I wondered if I had made a mistake consulting him
And would do so from the beginning to the end

Without word, reason, or warning.
The day came when he quietly disappeared
Intrigued and in my curiosity
Though he was untraceable
I sought him furiously for an entire year
He was after all a student of Sigmund
And I had little or nothing to fear

The postman in his crisp uniform
Appeared on the clock
Owing to the fact I was in his sector
In my pile of mail
Was a hand-signed bill
From my psychiatrist
The infamous Hannibal Lector

I conduct the symphony of hell
In the earths bowels overflowing with sin
Silence rules momentarily as my infamous symphony begins
Horned demons of ancient tales and nightmares
Eagerly pluck their human strings

Shrieking and pitiful wailing
The crescendo of suffering starts
Moans of the forever ******
Music so terrible and dark

Burst forth the voices of guilt ridden souls
From sulfur fumed burning pits of fire
Each must bear their own punishment
The offense of mortal desire

Sounds of tortured emotions
So shrill and high they scream
Those wrapped in flames until the sun dies
Drowning in insanity's seas
Their pain only adds to the haunting composition
In my arrangement of demonic melodies

So into the depths of hell I delve
For notes of the cursed
Can be found no where else
These are the lyrics of the lost
I am the conductor
Of the symphony in hell

My words soon published
Contain many secrets
Clues hidden at random
In poetry and prose
For those who are curious
Validate suspicions
Of that which you already know

To the reader
I describe my silence
Open the dark world
Of domestic violence
Shadows, scars and blood
The act of which no one speaks

I am the victim of angry blows
Unable vocalize my emotional pain
In my sanctuary remain
The black and  blue
Drip down my hand
In retaliatory position
Pen at my command

I brush fine strokes
Of anguish colored gray
Language of the poet
On a torn tear stained page

The result of abuse
Flower of domestic violence
Requiring all my strength
To control my anger and rage
By writing  words on a page
In my world of silence

From sleeps sweet embrace
To become realities eyes
Clouded with a dark imagination
Set forth in a torturous rhyme

Insanity my love
Premeditated thoughts undisclosed
Revealed the prophecy
Attired in woe

Each long night when dreams turned to sand
The delicate soul lay bathed in tears
Doing battle protected by the amour of loyalty
Overcoming the conquests of fear

Nightmares emerged from sleeps sweet embrace
Memories became realities stark face.
Morning comes and ends the assault
A peace that is gained
At a terrible cost.

The yearning gentleman journeyed near and far
Hoping to acquire his long-sought heart's desire
Pictures carefully painted from a copy of a euphoric time
A multitude of young memories drawn from an aging mind

From storybooks he conjured up the delicate princess and the pea
Next came the white-eyed fairy beauty sailing deep lavender seas
Red headed was the other with eyes of fire
Nought satisfied his slowing blood
And hearts desire

Life with a light kiss
Sprinkled upon him a touch of madness and sublime
Flung before him mountains with invisible peaks to climb

Sympathetic were the gods in their mercy
In forever withholding the knowledge
Alas there were no princesses to rescue
And no more fire breathing dragons

Alfred, Lord Tennyson (1809–1892)

NOW sleeps the crimson petal, now the white;
Nor waves the cypress in the palace walk;
Nor winks the gold fin in the porphyry font:
The fire-fly wakens: waken thou with me.

Now droops the milkwhite peacock like a ghost,         5
And like a ghost she glimmers on to me.

Now lies the Earth all Danaë to the stars,
And all thy heart lies open unto me.

Now slides the silent meteor on, and leaves
A shining furrow, as thy thoughts in me.         10

Now folds the lily all her sweetness up,
And slips into the ***** of the lake:
So fold thyself, my dearest, thou, and slip
Into my ***** and be lost in me.

Needing evidence they had to dig back 4 years and take a look
Finally finding words to use against me they say
Blocked from ****** book
For another 21 hours and 28 days.

It's true I am a unique individual
And as many see the world in my own particular way
But Comrade Zuck all bow to the king disagreed
Clamped on the irons and silenced me
For another 21 hours and 28 days.

Your meme goes against Community Standards they said
Tsk Tsk and they slapped my hands for being bad
Just one post outside the Matrix was all it took
To get myself blocked from Commiebook

Where shall we traverse tonight
To the cemetery of shadows
Or silky moonbeams high

To what lands mystical dreams
Shall we sojourn
On a fiery comets tail fly
To the sad lonely mountains
Or the jagged lightening filled skies

Oh secret dreams
When the moon turns red
Returning from our travels
Find my body alive or dead

Oh pale dreams

Evil words were spoken
On bitter covers lay
Praying to him who all kneel before
Most holy
To cleanse sins away

Regrets of choices made
In the early dew of youth
Stand before the judge of the universe
Stripped of earthly body
Remains the glaring truth

Forced to recline on bitter covers
In anxiety and fear until the creator call
Beaming with arrogance
Reflections of heavens gates in pious eyes
To hell the black soul did fall

One day America you must open your eyes
And acknowledge the responsibility for starving children’s cries
For the blood red and stagnant that flows through the streets
For the deaths of struggling farmers and poor families in distant lands
And those they will never meet
The song of suffering is your composition

One day America
You must speak the truth
That we have left the bones of other humans in the ground
Because their lives provided no political or monetary advantage
Giving no resistance they were poor and weak
Easy to overcome they were so we destroyed them

Unaware was the endless victims until the last moments when the bombs fell
The earth opened before them and became a living hell
Lost souls in a long line of murderous actions with no impunity
God help us all if the world revolts against us in unity
We will become wooden markers that will fade and rot through time
Dead by our own hands because we believed the lies

One day America you must open your eyes

Listen the stillness
Of a broken lullaby
The deadness of a cold hand
The strength of agony in hardened eyes

The emptiness trickles softly in
Where loneliness reclines too bold
Jasmine smoke trails filled the air
With a story soon to be told

One teardrop shed for love
One teardrop shed for hate
One teardrop shed for the angel of power
One teardrop shed for your grave

Listen the damp darkness
Of a broken lullaby
White peacocks screaming in the night
The strength of agony in hardened eyes

My face gaunt
I cannot sleep
Lay down
Eyes close
Only to weep

I am trapped
In a world of ghosts
Distrust and pain
Barely breathing
On love's death bed I lay

Blinded by loyalty
The assassin was faith
Betrayal
On the lips linger
A vile taste

A slow demise
Day after day
My soul lies wasting
On love's death bed I lay

Before opening the door of the lost
Perchance I will find the healing salve I seek
Its warmth melt the forlorn depths of my heart

Only emptiness remaining
Leaving the soul hollow and soiled
No longer the betrayer love control my emotions
Bitterness the ruler of my isolated world

So, pardon if soon I speak no more
As I ponder for a reason to live
I pause before entering the entrance way of the ghosts
And only a backward glance do I give

Gazing into the fourth dimension
Looking back, I see what was
What is
And what will be no more
Only a  backward glance do I give
Before stepping through the vanishing door

Turn yourself from my rage
As surely as I speak it will destroy you
Shield yourself from my piercing glance
As it is a slow but indubitable poison

There is no mercy to be found
In this unforgiving dead heart
No pity present in the chilled *****
No light penetrates the folds of the dark

Though you may attempt to safeguard your soul from my words
It is fruitless
For they will burn like witches’ fire
To see the crown slip from the brow is by far my greatest desire

Defend yourself from my hate if it please you
For from it there is no godly haven
The unholy fire now extinguished
I send my curses flying forth
On the wings of a Black Raven.

Pitter
Patter
Fall the rain
The dwelling
Bedlam of London
Residence of the insane

Behind metal rusted bars
Shall they forever remain
Raving madmen
With minds chaos they lay

How many poets
Are in the echoing screams
The artists visions
In lifeless eyes
A vacant being

The sculptor
Genius hands
Frozen into stone
Frightened into psychosis
For fear being alone

Pitter Patter
The maniacs clatter
Lightly fall the rain
Upon the dark roof
As the lunatics howl

Pitter Patter

Walking home one evening
A vampire I did meet
Dressed in black and red cape of course
Hypnotizing coal black eyes that had no depth
Fearsome look on his face

When he offered to shake my hand
I bowed low though having my doubts
Not knowing if he was a civilized vampire
Or if out of me he would take a bite

He walked along with me a ways
Stopped for a moment
Paused and said
Do you by chance good fellow
Play the honorable game of chess

Ah salvation I said
My prayers now come true
I replied more comfortable now
Indeed sir yes I do

We came to the gate of my house
I politely asked him in
We will retire to my study
Had some fine French wine
Let the game of strategy begin

He was a fierce opponent
A credit to the vampire race
His King and Queen displaying their power
Rook bishop and knights put in their place

We played several times
Until the hour became late
He was the superior player
This fact you could not debate
The game over
The wine drank
He prepared to depart

I having impeccable manners
Showed him to the door and bade him good night
Not thinking I reached to shake his hand
Out of which he promptly took a bite

So if in the course of an evening
You are walking alone
A vampire appears
And asks to play chess
Dont think twice
Or even glance back
Decline and go straight home

The weight of the world
Rested on my shoulders
In six months time
My heart grew ten years older
So here I sit
Prepared to collect
On the madness and pain
In my life you interject

Infiltrating the secret plans
You sought
My words will be that of stumbling blocks
Around which you must maneuver
As I present your personality
True in form
Line by line
Black verse
Red chapter

Do you think people doubt
The truth I speak
Already they have seen you
In violent feathers arrayed
Vengeful pompous and self assured
Overlooked the snake in grass lay

Acts you perpetrated
Then had legally negated
Though the permanent copy
Oh sly one
Will never be deleted
Try as you may with tactic and diversion
Written on your face is obvious *******

Go hide tainted soul
Deep in a hole
Where all monsters of your kind should be
I  wait with unlimited patience
Late into the night
In my hands pen and paper
Ever poised to strike

May my tears be the poison you drink
Into the arms of darkness you shall sink
My souls sadness
Be the coat you wear
As the blood drips slowly
From my dying hearts tear

This curse I cast into the wind
Calling to he who cannot be seen
The emotion of mercy
Is beyond my reach
Love from your body
I shall glean

So my warm tears be the poison you drink
From you I will take all
An empty vessel
Pity I do not possess
Into hell your mind will fall
