When i read your poems
I am happy to see
that love is still among many
even though it may be hard to see…

striving to make sense of our feelings
our deep and inner dispositions
when we are presented with this thing,
this thing, someone named "love"

because people
with there beaten and broken hearts
the medication, alcohol and ailments
do not heal or stop this predicament…

it is so hard to see the light
my friends, look beyond the situation

everything is as meant to be.
though hard to see

your life is held in the palm of a hand
whose gentle care will never end

so raise your head
and stand up tall

you are one among all
whose hearts have been broken

but you, this individual
my friend, you are

for I am a witness to say,
you are a blessing to me every day
addressing those who are down spirited.
your heart will soon be happy
You are not an opportunity

but a sweet responsibility

You are meant

to be held,

not possessed...

Not figured out,

but *discovered
Intimacy
When you realize you don't belong anywhere
When you have no place to hide
No place to find love

It would be so easy to just end it all
A rope
A pill
A knife
A small little step out of the edge
That is all it takes to end it
To get out

When you realize it doesn't matter what you do
Nothing will ever satisfy them
When you can't do anything because they told you that

That is when you have to stand tall
You still have yourself
That is all that matters

Do not give up
Do not let them win
Do not disappear.
Please...
the teacher
expounded on the value of the tree
“Isaac Newtown
discovered the law of gravity
under an apple tree;
the Buddha gained nirvana
seated under the Bodhi tree
Children -
what can we extrapolate from this?”

“It’s obvious, teacher,” said a smarty-pants kid
*“class is useless -
for if they’d been seated in a class like us
they’d have remained ignorant”
Get away from me,
My evil twin is just around the corner.
You see,
She's very protective.
You need to leave,
She is not going to be merciful.
You see,
She wasn't born this defective.
A boy she thought was man
Told her she had a pretty face,
And she lost her footing on this cliff,
Trying to kiss the space bellow his eye and above his cheek.
"Jesus Christ, that's a pretty face
The kind you'd find on someone I could save"
A dense black rock
in deep meditation for ever
gesticulated to him in the dark
as if they have met at the appointed hour.

He could feel the warmth
of love in its inner core
never ever given a chance to express
for long, long millenniums.
"Open your heart" he commanded
in a voice, that  triggers miracles,
thunder roared, lightning flashed
goosebumps did quickly spread
in the center of the dense granite block
speaking a cryptic code,
cleaving it in to two, what a brilliance!
this moment was kept hidden by circumstances;
a diamond filled the darkness
with such radiance, that has no measure.
Nobody dies of a broken heart!
That is what everyone says.
Time heals all scars!
That is what everyone says.
The pain dims, the memories fade
New and important things happen
People move on, make a fresh start
That is what everyone says.
Tell you what, I make a fresh start every Single day!
A resolution, not to look back
Not to care, not to feel, not to hear.
And yes, I succeed.

Sometimes.
