Flagstaff
Mountain peaks and street lights,
Old hotel signs and train tracks.
Pine trees and rooftops,
Coffee shops and secret spots.

The ocean of sky surrounded us
like a blanket of stardust.
The city swelled with love
And I was home.

The Water
Our feet would dangle
over the edge of the dock,
A cigarette in one hand,
the other
folded into yours.

Home
I want to live
where it rains.

I want to live
where neighbors
come for dinner.

I want to live
where strangers greet you
with warmth.

I wan to live
where I can pull weeds
in the spring.

I want to live
with you.
In our own
little house.

I want to live
somewhere I can call
**Home.

I Will
I’m standing at the threshold
of my life.
The door is open
and I can feel the frigid breeze
wrap itself around me.
It’s petrifying.
If I want to cross, I can.
If I get the nerve, I will.

If I get the nerve, I will.
