maybella snow
:
- steady rain
- howling wind
- slight creaks of our bed
- taps of my keyboard
- your chuckle
- our cat's claws on the floorboards
- a boiling kettle
- swirling coffee in a mug
- toast popping up
- soft click of our bedroom door
- clinking dishes
- your heartbeat
- pattering feet
- running water
- your breathing

Annie Lora
It’s a lack of understanding;
between the meaning of words
flowing out of my mouth,
and the ignorance surrounding.

It flies over their head,
It doesn’t pass a thought.
It leaves automatic response
Of robotic, forced out words.

Words are passed
through a world of simplicity.

To change this pattern is,
absurd.
So we move on,

And do the same as yesterday.

Sorry

Sorry
You may say you don't
but you know me; of me
and my swelling quiet

and they may say
over and over
in a low rumble
not to write of love
I know, I know

I close my eyes
the sanguine lids
like a heart
throbbing

In ink it spills
brims over like tears withheld
and stains the stark white page

your whiskers at dusk
the fine lines in your lips
Your eyes drip like jewels
heavy and sparkling

This smudge of words
I would die in
if I could not write
what I cannot speak

no one
alone

no one
when you are alone is..
when you're thoughts start
when the memories start
when you're reminded of the darkness

then you realise
you're not alone
you're, in fact, surrounded by people

you realise
you are not alone
because lonliness is always with you

but always remember that
there's someone out there who
when
you're alone, they'll be you're shadow
when
you need to cry, they'll be your shoulder
when
you're not happy, they'll be your smile
